I had a package held at this location. James was insolent, disrespectful, and refused to look at the tracking number. When I respectfully insisted that I knew the package was at that location, he looked through some letters, and naturally didn't find the package. A different employee stepped in, asked for the tracking number, and quickly found the package. But James was mocking me the entire time. Looking at these reviews, this is common behavior for James, but the USPS clearly accepts it.

By reading the rest of these reviews, I’m curious as to why James still has a job here. He is incredibly rude & got frustrated when I waited in line to ask for help on figuring out the label for my package. He seems to hate his job and this is definitely not the one he was meant to be working.

JAMES IS MOST RUDE EMPLOYEE!! all he does is talk over you, raise his voice and is completely useless. what is it with these people who work at USPS are so miserable and rude? This guy is the worst and terrible customer service. he’s agressvile and incredibly rude. There’s a lot of reviews on here about him and they are 100% true

One of the employee's at this Brookstone Drive location in Acworth, which is James, is unprofessional, the rudest and raised his voice at me throughout what was supposed to be a conversation! The female employee at this location witnessed it, too. Not sure if she will admit the truth or say anything because she works with him. I was the next person in line, so he was supposed to assist me. There was, also, a male customer who was there and heard the whole interaction. James' conduct is not what the Post Office represents! He, furthermore, did not correct the problem or help me with my package. James just raised his voice at me, cut me off while I was talking and did not help with what should of been the Post Office rectifying their mistake. He should be reprimanded and fired!

I'm glad my kids weren't with me. This time. I entered the building shortly after closing, I did not realize this as I was standing behind a customer who is being helped by James. Belinda offered to scan my QR code so I could ship my package and receive a receipt. In the meantime, James began very loudly, quite possibly screaming that they were closed. They could not take my package because they've been turning people away. Please remember that I was standing behind a customer who is being helped by him. James began closing the gate right in front of me and my label was being printed. He then removed my package from the scale, Belinda grabbed it and put it back on her scale just as the gate was closing quickly in front of me. I moved out of the way and stood there. Awkwardly. Belinda then opened the side door, gave me my receipt and told me to have a great day.I was completely dumbfounded and not quite sure what to think. What just happened!!? I contacted customer service and filed complaint. I'm not a complainer, this my first time ever reaching out to do so. This is also my very first yelp review.I'm grateful my kids didn't see this. There was a lot of rage in that moment from James. I did not feel safe.

Extremely slow, man working there James is as slow as possible and shows no interest in moving at a decent pace.

I came to drop off a package and the Asian man wearing glasses had a nasty attitude. I needed my package taped and he chuckled and said “ Normally post office don’t tape packages for you. I’ll do it this one time,” then stormed off with the package. I’ve never had any issues getting packages sealed at other locations. Bad customer service. Do the job you were hired to do.

Today, June 9th, 2023, at 2:50 pm, I had an almost "good experience" at this post office. Usually I avoid this facility because my experiences here in the past have been "cringe worthy." Today, however, the staff behind the counter were almost "friendly," a pleasant change from the usual staff. I still find the post office incredibly confusing with all its rules and regulations about mail, but the folks behind the counter are not responsible for that. What I do find inexcusable is the rudeness the post office employees, especially the ones behind the counter, usually express to their patrons who do not understand the ever-changing rules around mail. However, today I was pleasantly surprised although I kept thinking somebody was going to jump out and start screaming. I wonder why the post office doesn't fill up its ranks with retired folks who understand customer service. Maybe then it could regain its reputation as a friendly community centered place.

Only one person, Belinda that works to get customers out the door,others walk around and take breaks and can't be bothered ! Takes forever in line with one person working.

I would have to agree with Pamela - James is horrible not sure why but his attitude always sucks. And why does the post office not have tape ? All other locations I go to have tape. SMH

Great place to mail things or have things shipped, great people that work there are able to help you with all your needs I would recommend this place to everyone.. ?
