When I worked there the owner, Juan Manuel pretended to know how to color hair, but he didn't. He took more than three hours on some highlights. They came out horrible, he ruined that poor clients hair. Oh and they don't have a proper air extraction system required by law to extract the harmful chemicals produced by the hair products. He didn't want a door left open to air it out or nothing. When I decided to wear a mask(this was like 10 years ago) he told me to remove the mask because I'm the receptionist and he didn't want the business to look bad. I eventually left because he literally wanted to lock us in the salon with a thick cloud of smoke and I kept coughing. If you read the products instructions it clearly states to use in a well ventilated area. It causes diseases and cancer to do that and he did it to everyone, the clients and employees. SMH throw the whole business away. Oh and he treats the employees like garbage and he's in debt and broke. If that matters lol I don't care but they do. Also here's some tea on the business, it was originally from Colombia and they expanded here with Juan running things. Well Juan was reporting less money to the owner than what was being generated and they cut ties with this location. So that right there tells you how this business is run short cuts and bullshit. The rest of the stylists are great!

Been going here since I moved to Florida. The only salon I go to. It is professional, clean and the staff there is fantastic. They truly are like family. Juan Manuel always does my hair and also my son's hair. We are very pleased with the service.

I can't say enough great things about Juan Manuel (Owner) and Paula at Machos Hair Studio! They have been my salon for over 10 years when I lived in Davie. I moved 3 years ago to Pompano Beach and I still drive back to Weston for the best haircut and service in the state! Paula, Juans wife is friendly and efficient at the front desk and Juan is the best stylist in the business. He has so much experience and the staff is awesome as well. Everyone comments on the great haircuts he provides. Guys, gals, if you are looking for a great experience and service, give Machos a call! You won't be disappointed!! My salon for over 15 years!
