My dog’s first visit for his terrible seasonal allergies and what turns out was two pinpoint corneal tears, was all that I had hoped for, and less than a mile from my home. I felt like this was the perfect practice for my dog from the minute I made the call to make the appointment with Summer, who literally had me at hello lol, so kind and calming. She acted like she had all day to just focus on me and my dogs needs. Tyson did NOT have to wait in the lobby for more than a few minutes which was a wonderful change from his previous vet where he would wait an hour on occasion. The vet and vet tech were amazing with my dog and one of the biggest things that stood out to me was them being conscious of cost and not assuming that I have a bottomless wallet; which again, my previous vet had no concern for. Thank you for an amazing experience, top notch medical care and compassion, and for letting me know what all of my alternatives were in regards to cost while still getting the same end result. We are excited to go back next week for a follow up. Thank you! ??

The most kind, caring, and professional group of veterinarians any pet owner could ask for when brigning your pet to strangers. They make you and your pet feel at home as soon as you step through their doors. Even if I lived further than I do now (which is about 30 min), I would still come to West Park Animal Hospital!

Love this practice! Both Dr. Churchill and Dr. Reitz are phenomenal. They are both very knowledgeable and I never feel rushed during a visit. They really care and take the time to answer all questions and go over options. They take fear-free seriously and make your pets feel as comfortable as possible. Highly recommend.

Over the moon excited that I’ve found the staff at West Park. From the front desk team to the veterinarian, these are some of the kindest people you’ll meet. They’re so caring for their guests and animals and willing to truly get to know what’s going on with your pets. They offer multiple solutions and are willing to work with you on whatever you’re comfortable with. I’ve visited many other vets that seem to push products left and right and you don’t get that experience here thankfully. The vets and techs are truly solutions based with wonderful hearts. Highly recommend !

Amazing vet for cats. The level of genuine care and thoughtfulness is endearing. They completed a rather difficult tooth extraction surgery perfectly. One of the very few in Tampa that is locally owned and not owned by private equity firms with exploitive pricing.

Needed a new vet. Very happy I chose West Park. Spent a lot of time researching. This was one of two vets that were very responsive to my questions. At the appointment, the vet tech and then the vet herself spent a lot of time with my dog trying to make her less nervous. There’s no exam table so the vet and the tech get right down on the floor to interact with the dog and give a lot of affection while poking and prodding. Exam, heart worm and fecal tests, and vaccinations requires for boarding came in around $260 which I thought was very reasonable based on other vet visits and my research this year to find a new vet.

I would like to say first off I am new to Florida, so I was a little nervous finding a new vet, this is by far the best vet I have ever been to, I didn’t feel like I was rushed in the office visit. The vet actually sat on the floor with my very old dog, and they didn’t put her on the table. They were gentle with her , they listen all my concerns they answered all my questions the prices were reasonable for what vets charge and I highly recommend them. They are by far better than my that from New York.
