“I came here for a Yelp event a few months ago and have since completely fallen in love with Resource Depot. The best way to describe the store is a thrift store for crafting and educational supplies. I've been on DIY kick since moving to a new home and Resource Depot has been helping me so much with all my little projects. There are two size bins you can use to shop. A large yellow recycle bin is $10 or the small blue bin is $5. I have been grabbing the blue bin lately and filling it with paint, fabric, styrofoam, ribbon, yarn, tiles, craft foam, felt, and so much more. Of course selection will depend on what has been donated so go in with an open and creative mind. There is also a space for more newer items for sale. There are some definite great finds in there and everything is priced per item. So if you don't find what you needed in the resource side, definitely check out that area as well!”

“I don't get to Jo-Ann fabric very often, as I am not very crafty. My husband asked me to pick up some supplies as he is preparing for Burning Man. I wandered for a while and was having trouble finding what I was looking for. I asked the employee who was working at the fabric section for help and she knew exactly where to find what I needed. I then found her again to ask where safety pins are, and she was able to direct me to the exact spot in the aisle where I could find them. The cashier was also very friendly, and this was just an easy experience.”

“Some hidden gems in this hidden gem. Such a sweet and helpful staff. They offer a lot of single items so you can shave money while trying out new artist tools. Had no idea that it existed until recently. Sleepin on the lake park staples. Never again.”

“Been here 3 times and I'm no longer decor hoarding but I still like to browse. The Xmas selections have moved fast the last couple of years, well before even Black Friday, and this store is no exception. This Hobby Lobby is typical of all Hobby Lobbies. Literally nothing special or stand out except the customer service I received yesterday. I can't remember the lady's name for the life of me and I specifically asked just to include her in this review. Maybe Anna something, Margaret something. Idk but she goes by a 2 names name, young-ish, white female. She rang me up yesterday and she was just so pleasant beginning to end. Asked me if I found everything I needed and when I said no, she offered to help me find it! We talked a little as the transaction rolled and I even exclaimed how pleasant she was. She thanked me and told me to have a nice night. Even my mother, who was on hold mentioned how nice she was. Again nothing special about this location's offerings except Ms. 2 names!”

“I just started to learn how to Needlepoint and visited this cute Boutique store in Lake Park. They have a Fabulous selection and the owner took her time to help and show me around. I also signed up for a Wednesday class that they hold for needlepointing! Looking forward to this Wednesday :)”
