Save yourself a headache and go to another location or pharmacy all together.
It took me 6 calls, 2 in person visits and contacting Walgreens corporate to get 1 tablet for pre-surgery.
I understand there was an insurance issue, but I said I would pay out of pocket for the medicine numerous times but still took over a month to get the matter solved.

My wife made two appointmentsfor vaccines together at one time. But they made one at 10:30 and the other at 11:40 . Witch makes no sense. Why would we come up here twice. In one day SHOULD HAVE BOTH BEEN TOGETHER. NOT SEPARATE.

The worst pharmacy I have ever been to and has to be the worst in Tampa. They are SOOOOO SLOWWWWW and lines are outrageously long, especially inside the store and if you are in the drive thru, good luck because it takes the technicians literally 10-15 minutes each time, sometimes longer, to get one prescription. That’s it. Just one. It happens to me every month. It’s beyond ridiculous. Also, tell me how in the world it takes 26 hours to fill a medicine of 4 pills. That’s it, just 4 pills and they told me it would be ready in 26 hours. I get so fed up going here that I will be switching pharmacies as well.

I have made 2 calls today simply trying to follow up on a msg that medicine was out of stock. The 1st time I was picked up and put on hold 13 times before someone tried to help. He said he try to locate in nearby walgreens and call back no matter what. He NEVER called. So I find the medicine at CVS.. I do all the right steps, CVS requests the transfer, nothing.. hours pass.. I call walgreens back. 12 more times of pick up and hold.. Finally a pick up and long hold again with someone telling... nope up to 24 hours to transfer a needed medicine and I am trying to tell her 25 times on pu and hold.. what do I get? Have a nice day and hang up. I'm filing a formal complaint

This is THE WORST WALGREENS, and that’s saying a lot. They are ALWAYS understaffed, the line is always insanely long, and 9/10 your script isn’t ready. We have switched to CVS. Don’t waste your time here.

Absolutely the worst pharmacy and when I called it took over an hour for someone to answer for them to be rude and the take a ridiculous amount of days to even fill a prescription even when I left the hospital to get a emergency medicine they were going to take 3 days to fill it until I went in there like my doctor told me to in order for them to fill it right away

I called to see if a prescription is required for an epipen. After navigating the voice response system designed to keep you from speaking to a human I finally got one on the phone. Of course she didn’t know the answer and placed me on hold where upon the system said they were having errors and I would have to try the call again later. Why do all companies use these systems? It’s like they are going out of their way to create a frustrating experience for us.

Walgreens has consistently been my go-to pharmacy and retail destination, and my experiences have been nothing short of exceptional. The convenience of having a Walgreens nearby has made it my preferred choice for various needs.
The pharmacy services at Walgreens have been consistently reliable. Whether it's filling prescriptions, getting over-the-counter medications, or seeking advice from the knowledgeable pharmacy staff, I've always found the service to be prompt and helpful. The pharmacists are approachable, answering any questions I may have with expertise and care.
The retail section of Walgreens offers a diverse range of products, from health and wellness items to everyday essentials. The layout is well-organized, making it easy to navigate and find what I need. The store is clean, well-maintained, and adequately stocked.
Additionally, the photo department at Walgreens has been a lifesaver for me. The ability to print photos conveniently and the range of personalized photo gifts available make it a one-stop-shop for all my photo-related needs.
The staff at Walgreens deserves commendation for their friendly and helpful demeanor. Whether it's the cashier at the checkout or an employee in the aisles, I've always encountered a welcoming and customer-oriented attitude.

This is the Walgreens close by so I send prescriptions there. They really do not follow up on prescriptions and give incorrect information.
Ex 1. Had an Rx that was a written prescription, so I had to drop off in person. I'm informed they don't have it but a Walgreens 20 mins away has it and I should take it there. I drive to other Walgreens (#2) and they don't have the medication. Pharmacy tech said Walgreens #1 didn't call to verify if they had it. Never got that Rx filled because neither Walgreens called back to notify me it was available.
Ex. 2 had an asthma medication that Dr called in Rx for. I was told it needed additional info from doc and they couldn't fill it. They never followed up with/dr. Fortunately, I saw a different dr and they were able to provide me with a sample of asthma inhaler in office for my breathing issue. Unbelievably, my Dr received a letter saying I never picked up the Rx and when I went to Walgreens they said they never filled it.
Anyway, this pharmacy is terrible and inefficient. Expect to wait 20-40 mins in drive thru and don't expect to get your medication the same day if you need it. I'm currently waiting on a Rx that is now "on order" so who knows if it'll be filled or if I'll ever find out about it.

The level of disrespect I was faced with is simply disgusting. The male in charge of the FEDEX section was not helpful or welcoming. He starts off with a rude can I help you. I asked him can he make a photo copy of a driver license and he abruptly said I can’t do that its a illegal. I said ok what I should I do. He said no one can help me because it is illegal and to photocopy it at my copy machine at home. I said sir I don’t have a photocopy machine and he said oh right. I left and went to UPS and warmly greeted and was helped with making a copy of my license. I asked him is it illegal for him to do this and he chuckled playfully and said no I do this multiple times a day. I was shocked as I was just it was illegal. I went back to FedEx In Walgreens and the same male was there. I asked him to show me proof of the policy and he said oh I can’t but its the law. He then asked a co worker and she said nope we can’t. I asked her to please show me a policy that says that she says oh I can’t but Ill get the manager. The fedex male told me to google the policy myself and I said no you can google it for me and he said oh I don’t have my phone. The manager appears and I asked him to please show me the policy that says it is illegal to make a photocopy of a license. He said he could not. I told him well you see how a customer could be frustrated at being told this and see no proof of their policy. He started at me blankly and said I guess I can mention it to headquarters. The original male came out with something he googled. But it was not on a fedex or Walgreens website. I explained to the manager that his employee told me no one would help me and I should do it at home. The male then said he never said that. I told the manager at the end of the day you will believe him over me. As I walked away the manager said ma am its not like that. The original male began to laugh and said she’s not worth it and I showed her what she wanted. I will never use FEDEX again. I left in tears with my 4 year old daughter.

Missed getting my prescription filled before leaving to Florida from Michigan. Went to CVS and Publix but they couldn't help. Walgreens in Wesley Chapel got the job done! BIG THANKS!
