I had the worst experience with them. I pierced my 2month old babies with them and they say if something happened just let us know.they said everything was sterilized and clean but one of my daughters got her ear pierced infected. The pediatrician from Nemours telemedicine told me ( when I explained all the care that I have with my babies ) that maybe the earring was infected or something happened during the procedure. So, I called the store because I wanted a refund and let them know what happened with my babies and the lady was so mean, she even dared to say I didn’t have enough care cleaning my babies ear pierced and it was my fault. How can she dare !!???! . So she didn’t give me any solution even though the receipt itself says that you have 30 days for a refund. The only thing that lady suggested was to take off the earring and come back to get her ear pierced there for free again. If you have babies please don’t go to Pagoda in Indian river mall .

My husband purchased a ring for me for Christmas 2023. The ring was beautiful, but way overpriced. I went to return it this past Thursday and had a horrible experience. We arrived at 6pm (figured later in the day would be better). My husband paid $375.00 in cash and put the remaining $10.00 on our debit card. When we arrived, there were 2 employees chatting in the corner. It took them a couple of minutes to stop their personal conversation to ask if we could be helped. The woman Alexis as I was told, asked how she could help. I explained we were there to make a return and that the ring was still in the box with the tag attached. It had only been 2 days since my husbands purchase. She proceeded to look up the return and then said she couldn’t return it. She said she didn’t have enough money in her register. She only made $50 dollars for the whole day. I asked if she could refund the whole purchase on my debit card. She said no. She originally told me to check back the following day to see if she had enough cash to cover the return, but then stated she was only allowed to carry $250 in her register. So I said that didn’t make sense. If I come back tomorrow you won’t be able to refund us because you just said you’re only allowed to carry $250. Then she said she had another register but didn’t know how to make a return using both registers. I was annoyed. Over the years I have spent thousand of dollars at this particular location. I had become very fond of the previous employees Raven in particular. She always took the extra step with us. Then she said “look at the fine print on the receipt. It says Banter will only refund by a check for anything over $150.” This is crazy to me. Someone should of explained that to my husband when he paid cash. Come to find out, it was Alexis herself who completed the sale. Upset, and annoyed at her inability, I asked her who the manager was. She said she was. I said no who’s in charge? She said she was again. Then I said “who’s the District Manager?.” She said “I’m not allowed to give that information out.” Ummm what? Excuse me? It should not be a secret as to who runs this location. Alexis then tells me she has only been the Manager and working there since June. That’s absurd. I left aggravated and called the Banter Customer customer service line in which the rep said returns are up to the Manager. He said if I paid cash, there should be questions and I should be refunded in cash. He sent an alert to the real District Manager and said I would personally hear back within 24 hours. Here we are almost 4 days later and nothing! I’m stuck with this ring because I refuse to wait 3-4 weeks for a paper check that I will then need to clear in my account or pay to cash. This place is an unorganized mess and I will never do business again. Alexis did absolutely NOTHING to try to accommodate us. In fact, we were a bother to her. She had no empathy, compassion, or care in the world. For that and for also not hearing from her boss I will boycot Banter. I will tell everyone I know to steer clear from Banter in The Indian River Mall. Be honest. Try better.

If I could give zero stars I would. My husband and I came to the dead mall and it was 7:30, we just wanted to look at some silver necklaces real quick. When we got to the booth she had already turned the lights off. We were standing there for 10 minutes and asked her if she was could help us she sighed and said just a minute. Customer service is dead.she complained and sighed when we asked if we could see some of the neclaces like we were bothering her. Then my husband asked her to see a tray of them as the lights were off and we couldn't see the quality. She tells him she can't take the neclaces out. We asked who the owner was she said she was!! What a shock ,no wonder the mall is dying people like her with no tact or customer service! I will never giver her my business!

I’m a little irritated because back in October, I had my daughters ear pierced and was told “if anything happens in a year come back and we’ll replace the earrings” I went in almost 2 weeks ago and was pretty much told that I had to buy my daughter a new set of earrings with screw backs and had to be flat earrings since she’s so little. I’ve never had a problem with the original earrings but the sales lady insisted that our issue was because it a stud ear ring and not flat. I spent over $130 for 2 pairs of earrings and I’m not satisfied with the screw backs but I definitely don’t want to go back and be scammed out of more money.

OMG. I literally LOVE this place, so much variety and such a beautiful collection. I get my whole family gifts from here especially when they have BOGO. Raven is super amazing and Krysta the assistant manager as well, they can place items on hold and let you know the next discount dates.

Customer Service is amazing! Bought earrings for my daughter seven months ago, yesterday they broke. I went to their location today no questions asked they saw the earrings and replaced them. Very lovely & very friendly we will always use piercing pagoda because of this.

The assistant manager Raven is my "go to girl"... she is very knowledgeable and friendly... she always finds the right pieces of jewelry I am looking for... she pierced my 5 year old niece's ears and did such an amazing job with her....
