This place used to be the best! Low prices, constantly new items. For the last year or so, the prices have become outrageously expensive and it’s all the same items week in and week out. The $15 credit card minimum is a bit of inconvenience as well. Sad because we enjoyed coming here weekly but now it’s hardly worth a trip.

I question if they actually help animals :/ I think pricing is a bit high but they do color tag specials and can score something for a reasonable cost. This will not be my go to, Goodwill is better next door hands down. I hope they read these reviews and improve.

If I could leave zero stars I would. Terrible environment and terrible management Dakota specifically!! Fraud thrift store should be a consignment store with those prices!! Get all their product for free and charge $20 for clothes that smell like cigarettes and have stains. Extremely uncomfortable shopping environment will never go back

Dakota, the “manager” is extremely disrespectful. Sat up front of the store and poorly spoke on customers who spend their own money on things in the store, donating to the animals. But ever since becoming manager it’s no longer about the animals it’s all for profit and seems to be going to his own pocket. I feel sorry for people who purchase from here, I would go to thrift stores like EARS or project phoenix where the money is actually going back into the community and not into the managers pocket. Like other reviews, extremely uncomfortable environment. Not like it use to be. I would steer clear.

Really nice finds in here, especially the furniture selection. What a great way to support the humane society! Great prices and friendly employees.

Do not bother dropping off donations here. Just take them to Goodwill a few doors down. This was once a caring shop to donate nice items to help raise money to help the animals at the shelter. Now it is run by crabby old women who run out to yell at people who try to bring donations. It is a shame what has happened to this store.

One of the nicest around! Their prices have gone up a bit. But if you really like something, try talking to the manager. He may help adjust the price.

Why is it every time I try to donate here I end up getting attitude from the intake attendants. This time I tried to give them 4 brand new in the box lighting fixtures and the idiot wouldn't take them because there was no way to test them? They were hardwire fixtures from Lowes and had never been out of the box or even opened. Probably a couple hundred dollars worth. Common sense there ain't none and they'll get no more donations from me. I drove all the way to Englewood from Port Charlotte to give them those lights and I also gave them a brand new propane heater worth over $249. Pathetic.
