"Been there, done that" with so many salons...some really good, others not so much! Walk in and feel like I am visiting family. Walk out and LOOK better, FEEL better! MY stylist, Lauren is a gem. She's talented, lovely and has become a friend. Teresa, the owner is so welcoming as is Alex who does everything from reception, hair, etc. A special place for sure, with very special people!Puttin' On the Ritz client for several years

I am a 53yr old male with long hair that I rarely have cut. Last time was 2018. I am usually spontaneous when I decide to do so. I ducked into Puttin' On The Ritz on a whim. I walked in and asked if they'd take a walk in. Alex was very kind and accommodating. She did an amazing job intuiting the needs of some pretty thick and curly hair with a lot of split ends. Needed a new Hairstylists.. I walked in a few salons to check out cleanliness, professionalism, salon atmosphere and distance between chairs & staff. Several were like overcrowded, loud, snobby, rush rush & way over priced. Finally, I walked in to Putting on the Ritz, it was clean, beautiful ambiance and generous space between stations. Lovely!
Greeted by Lauren who answered all my questions & offered her creative suggestions too.
Made appointment with Lauren & can't say how happy I am with the results! My hair looks & feels fabulously great! Elegant Salon, great staff & undivided attention!!

Scheduled a haircut and a hilight for virgin hair that has been hilighted for 25 years- it can be done. Only to be talked out of it. Should I add that the client in question owned and worked out of her own hair salon? She loves the atmosphere of the place and each employee that she talked to, so she requested that I not call in. But this is completely unacceptable of a place that performs hair services.

Not at all a spa. A loud and unfriendly/unwelcoming place with the strangest video about fixing a fence, goats, cows and tractors playing on the large TV screen during a "spa pedicure". Would not recommend this business to anyone. They didn't seem concerned about bringing in any new customers and retaining them.

I am from OH visiting Venice for the winter. I made an appointment with Lauren for color and trim. She was amazing and did a fantastic job! Very impressed. Everyone I encountered was kind and professional. The salon is very clean.I’ll be back next year and I’ll request Lauren again!
