“This is a great Company to do business with. we have been ordering our Synthroid from this organization for years now.. It does come from abbot labs and it is the true and correct medication. A previous reviewer claims she had received fake medications but this is impossible. Why would they send a counterfeit after 20 years in business for a 68 dollar order? Doesn't make sense!”

“I can't recommend the Sun & Sea Pharmacy on Tamiami Trail in Venice, FL enough! I'm now paying 50% less on my prescription. Here's the story. Once I got Medicare Advantage, my migraine meds copay went from $5, 10 or $15.. to an unbelievable $80 at the lowest (and usually listed as costing up to $160). I spent so much time researching how to lower my cost. I tried GoodRX, WellRX, Single Pay, Amazon, even a drugstore in Canada. I even got my carrier to put my meds on formulary! It was still crazy expensive. Someone recommended I go see Richard & Kacey, owners of Sun & Sea Pharmacy. They formerly worked at Publix and Walgreens in the pharmacy so they're very experienced. My copay is now $40 something, half the cost! They are not only wonderfully compassionate people, they live in this community and care about the community. How do they cut prices? They shop around for distributors when getting our medications so their customers pay less. Every time I walk into this mom-and-pop type pharmacy there are people milling around talking and laughing, many just stopping by to visit. That says a lot. I hope this helps you, especially if you're a senior struggling to pay for expensive medications. Tell 'em you read Barbara's review! :)”

“We care for me see is by far the best pharmacy I have ever been to In My Life. That is no exaggeration, I've been on medication everyday medication at least for the Last 5 Years and before that any pharmacy ever went to especially the big box pharmacy stores always made you wait hours or days and had way too much to handle and bit off more they can chew. I can tell you right now that we care pharmacy is literally the complete opposite of your box stores, extremely personable friendly and I can't stress this enough they are fast friendly knowledgeable and professional.Marci is an absolute expert and has tons of experience, and pharmacist Nick is an absolute gentleman and an absolute professional and he's extremely nice he made it a point to say hello even though he was on hold he peeked out and said hello and when we were leaving he stepped to the front and had a quick conversation with myself and my mother, needless to say our entire family will be transferring their prescriptions from Walmart CVS and Walgreens. When I say my family I mean my immediate family and my aunts and uncles that have heart issues and whatnot. I couldn't imagine a better Pharmacy to go to, if they ever close which I don't think they ever will because they've been in Venice what seems like forever, I don't think I could ever be satisfied with another Pharmacy again after. It's kind of like once you had the best or something everything else is subpar. Excuse me for my typing or my punctuation I'm using text to talk and it doesn't allow me to type it out sometimes it will allow me to punctuate by speaking otherwise it we'll spell out the punctuation word. Overall experience would be a 10 out of a 10 my doctor sent my prescriptions over as soon as I walked in the door she heard my voice and knew who I was and went right back there found my prescriptions and they were filled and done in under 10 minutes, and that being because we were having conversation. So I can imagine how fast I would have been in and out if for example I called in a refill and came in the next day I would probably would have been in and out in under 5 minutes. I can't stress that I highly highly recommend this Pharmacy you have zero hassles when you go there, and they are professionals that actually care about you and your well-being. If you're looking for a pharmacy that will have your medication on time and won't treat you like the box stores do, if you want that Mom and pop type experience then again this is your place to go. Although they have a decent amount of customers they know everybody by name I can't say the same thing about any of the box stores. I'll say this again I highly highly highly highly highly highly recommend them. And to anyone with anxiety in general even if it's undiagnosed they make it so easy that there is zero anxiety involved or zero stress so if you're one of those people that are stressed out easy or suffer from anxiety diagnosed or not you will not feel an outs of anxiety when you speak with the staff there or when you go into the pharmacy. It's a very relaxing environment, not to mention that they have great pricing on over-the-counter medications that beat even stores like Walmart and Publix. If you're from the Venice area they're located on the island, instead of taking the bypass go through downtown Venice and you can't miss them they're the turn right after the light for Publix the building is yellow so if you're coming from North Port which would be North then instead of taking the bypass you would go through downtown Venice and it would be on your right if you're coming south ,Laurel Road and 41 and you would Veer to the right go through downtown Venice and then make a left before the light for Publix you can see the public sign but more importantly you will see the yellow building that we care pharmacy is in and they have a sign in red lettering that says we care Pharmacy, it would be very hard to miss it but I wanted”

Never an aisle someone isn't stocking any and all times - usually right where you're trying to get to . Having a party and thinking of perhaps some boxed wine ? Five bucks per more than other places - so a red and a white and it's ten bucks more . Same w beer prices - bit higher than other places . The BOGO deals are great and a good time to stock up on staples you use and use . The stores are clean and bright and have what you need - you'll pay more than you expected - never once in many years has the bill been lower than you'd have guessed - but this location is ultra close to us and dependable . It's kinda like that friend you often go out to eat with and yet always wind up paying for both . The bakery is dependable too, and the crusty baguette makes a nice take home sandwich - if you can get em as they aren't always there . And I will say we often get the Publix own brands of items which are consistently good . So there . I have my complaints but mostly it's good .”

“I complement and would highly recommend Pharmacist Amanda and Customer Service Associate Nancy. Upon arriving in Florida on business I realized I'd forgotten my Insulin and syringes which are both filled by the VA and impossible to get refilled immediately. They went over and above what was expected .Amanda gave me my best options to meet my needs for my stay in Fl. obtained necessary scripts from my Dr in NJ and in short order filled my extremely necessary Lantus ( not sold over the counter) and needles.”

“I just have to say how wonderful the whole pharmacy staff was. Especially Chloe, she went above and beyond! My husband just got out of the hospital and I needed to wait for his prescriptions. He was supposed to be waiting in the car and instead here he comes shuffling into the store. Well Chloe heard me asking him why he was walking without any assistance because he’s a fall risk. Next thing I know here she comes with a scooter for my husband to use while we were in the store. How sweet was that?There were a lot of new faces there and I have to say they all worked great together as a team. “We have sushi from Publix quite frequently when they have the $5 sushi specials on Wednesdays. We try to every week, but don't always succeed. It's fresh, it's varied, it's super fresh, and we stuff our faces! We actually love the seaweed salad. It has just the right kick! The sushi-making-guys are very attentive, & will make you whatever you want. Love Publix! Just wish they had them up north!”

Today I walked in very upset because the CVS located in S Jacaranda and Tamiami (across Walmart) got my prescription all wrong and didn't offer any help. This is the same prescription I've been getting for over 10 yrs. So, after that bad experience, I decided to drive to this branch and ask for help. Max took my info and worked in the computer for about 6 or 8 minutes. When he came back he told me he got everything squared away and my prescription would be ready. I know it wasn't a simple thing and he did all that with a smile on his face. I work in customer service and I understand how difficult and challenging it can be so THANK YOU MaX for all your help and for solving my case . I will be going back to this branch for now on.”

“While visiting in the Venice area, I needed to have a new prescription sent from my out of state doctor. Waited till mid afternoon to give them a chance to get it filled. Got there, they had no record of receiving it. That was upsetting as I really was in need of this prescription. The young lady (I think her name was Ris?) I was working with was so helpful, she got additional help with the situation and she suggested I call my clinic at the same time to confirm it got sent in. Later my clinic sent a message that they have resent the prescription to the correct location, what?! I gave them the accurate location and phone #. A bit later I called the Walgreens phone # and was able to confirm with the automated help they had received the order and was still working on it! Couple hours later I received the text that my order was ready! My husband went in to pick it up for me and the same lady was quick to apologize for the delay and was hoping that I would be feeling better soon as she knew the pain that I was in. Beyond grateful for her and wanted to give kudos to this pharmacy since I had seen some that were not so good. People need to take the time when they are happy to compensate for the people who are not!!!”

“They always fill my prescription timely and correctly. I love the phone system that is automated and notifies you when your prescriptions are ready. They have a drive-through so it's very convenient too. I've been in the store and do like the variety of items from goodies to make-up to gifts to some clothing items and much more. The staff is always helpful and kind too.”

“Our Walgreens pharmacy stays very busy with the volume of prescriptions they receive. They do get even busier during season. In addition to filling prescriptions, as quickly as they can, the pharmacy staff does their very best to answer pharmacy customer phone calls, help customers with over-the-counter medicines, etc. With the pharmacy drive through, you can easily pick up a prescription and be on your way. If you are waiting for a prescription or just doing some in store shopping you can peruse Venice Souvenirs and even purchase Venice High School souvenir clothing as well.”

“CVS has a great staff working at this location in Venice on Jacaranda. They offer exceptional customer service every visit. It’s a busy pharmacy but they get the customers taken care of in a reasonable time. Kaylee was at the pickup counter on my last visit and she was a true expert at providing excellent customer service. She was pleasant to work with and very helpful in answering my question. I’m glad I switched pharmacys recently, CVS is the best!”

“The pharmacy employees are overworked and yet do not transfer any of their stress to the customers. My vet called in an emergency prescription for my dog at 7:30. They close the pharmacy at 8. When I got to the pharmacy, just before 8, it was ready for pick up. No complaints about a last minute order. I read other reviews about them not answering the phones. I agree it’s difficult to get someone on the line. But, after visiting the store I see why. Corporate needs to better staff this location, the people who show up to work are fabulous.”
