I would not darken the doorway of this establishment again due to the apathetic attitude of the two clerks who stood behind the counter while there were several customers in the store. They appeared and acted uninterested in assisting me or any others. When I asked for a specific shoe, all I was told was "look over there"!!

The product line is good - many top shelf brands. But what impressed me the most was the service. The associate was knowledgeable, helpful, patient as a tried to decide between different brands and styles. First time there, but I will be a repeat customer at the Brownwood store.

I went to Shoe Biz in Brownwood, Villages Fl not expecting much because my feet are not easy to fit. I was waited on by Anahi and she was so patient with me and to my amazement I found a shoe that was made for my feet. I would recommend Amahi and this store to anyone

Never bought anything but a whole lot of help. Looking for sneakers for bike, size 14. Showed me what I needed, but didn't have size in stock, and admitted it would take weeks to get. Gave me the info, model, etc. Ordered from Amazon and got them in a week. I had texted with New Balance and could not get a straight answer on their own shoes, but Shoe Bix gave me correct info. Thank you!

Wow lots of shoes! Various brands and styles. We were looking at the Clarks flip flops in yellow that my friend was wanting. The store does have some seating available so that you can try on your selections. Store organized by brand of shoes and everything was clearly laid out. Small store so can get a bit crowded if a few customers are there. We were never greeted by anyone but we weren't looking to buy just then anyway.

As we are walking in at 530 the clerk was verry polite asked us if we need help and then added "Just so you know we close at 6" Sorry but I can see if it's getting close to closing we still have not made up our minds but don't rush people out the door before they have had a chance to even look at the first pair of shoes. Verry hard to give local businesses a sale when your treated like an inconvenience, prejudged/profiled the moment you walk through door. This was our 3rd time in your store and this time we left without buying anything, becausewe agree, we don't need to shop at your store again.

Absolutely disappointed in my service! Last year had a great experience and got a fantastic fit on pickleball shoes! Went back, had them fit me, was a very strange size (advised as much) was reassured - and they felt good - so trusted the fit. Played pickleball two days, had blisters! Came back in the next weekend and advised what the result was. Was told, “you wore them, we cannot exchange them.” Advised them, “but I was fitted…and how am I supposed to ‘try out pickleball shoes’ to know they are not going to fit and are going to give blisters - unless I wear them on a court?” The response was, “sorry, that’s company policy! You can call the owners or go to Lady Lake location and see if the owners will do anything for you.” To me, this is terrible service. The fact is - if I walked in, sized myself, like at a self service shoe store, I would totally get it. But I was sized and even questioned the size. Since January, we had bought multiple other pairs of shoes from these two stores - not any more! I have a pair of pickleball shoes I cannot wear without bandages on my feet. This just isn’t right.

Shoe Biz is one of my favorite places to get shoes... Well, it's one of the only places I can. My feet are strangely shaped, and most places don't carry the size I need (8.5 WW). Some would recommend buying shoes online, but my feet are also very tall. I visit every year or so to grab a new pair, and the employees are always knowledgeable and kind. They always know exactly which shoes I need.It is always a comfort to be able to try on shoes before buying them, especially when they are so necessarily expensive.

We shop this store frequently and bring out of state guests who are looking for good “comfy” shoes. It’s so nice to have staff that will actually measure your feet and make recommendations. My sister from MI is a runner and buys shoes every time she visits. They will allow you to return shoes if they don’t work-of course they must be in good condition so suggest wearing them in the house a few times.
