My mom even wants to stop by this Publix when she visits because the Pub Subs made by the staff there are always top notch. They also remain friendly and take their time with the order, despite how busy they can get.”

“O.M.GOODNESS! Emphasis on GOODNESS! My husband and I drove from Spring Hill (about an hour one way) to Cacciatore Bros looking to buy some good beef. We were not disappointed! We chose bacon wrapped filet mignon, and it literally melted in my mouth. SO GOOD! The sausage and cheese counters were packed with lots of selections, the grocery items were plentiful with different brands, and the produce and frozen sections offered a variety as well. We will definitely be going back! You can check out their weekly ad on their Facebook page. We also stopped at Cacciatore and Sons, but were not impressed. In fairness, it was later in the day, and maybe they had sold out of most meat items. Cacciatore Bros on Hanley Rd in Tampa is worth the drive!”

“Very attractive, new Publix with lots of prepared food options. I had heard that Publix now offered a Chipotle-style Mexican food bar, and I was curious. I arrived at noon, and there was no line (there was a line at the deli, though). I opted for a custom bowl. The actual bowl was pretty much identical to the bowls used at Chipotle, although it had a plastic top rather than a foil top. I opted for the chili lime rice, the black beans, the chicken verde, pico de gallo, pickled onions jalapenos, cheese and cilantro. The food wasn't piping hot, but it was hot enough. The pickled onions were too sweet. Everything else was pretty unremarkable, and frankly, as the price point is similar to Chipotle, I'd prefer to go to Chipotle. This Publix also has a wine/beer bar, and pizza area, and sushi bar, in addition to the deli with hot and cold foods. And it's a grocery store! Would I come back here for lunch? No, probably not. I prefer to make my own lunch or go out to a proper restaurant. But it's a nice grocery store in its own right.”

“This supermarket has great ready-to-eat Brazilian food sold by weight, as well as delicious fresh empanadas and other snacks. It also sells a variety of authentic ingredients. Prices are reasonable and the employees are friendly.”
“Great place, low cost but great value in return. Its a old and small hispanic mom and pop shop, but what brings great value is its butcher shop. The meat sold here is amazing and at a great price. The store does sell its basic needs such as rice, beans, pots, pans, and can beverages. There is not a produce section, just canned items or frozen. Where the store lacks in, it will surely make up in other areas.”

“Amado (sorry if I spell incorrectly) was so sweet and friendly! He shared some cooking tips with us and welcomed us into the store. They are renovating the store currently but everything is clean and safe. There's some fresh produce, canned goods and a hot food bar with pastries and cafe con leche, etc. The food smelled divine! *drool* There is a food truck outside, and judging by the # of people waiting, it must be good! We didn't have time to check it out today unfortunately. No issues with finding parking.”

“I like Publix, I just wish it wasn't so darn expensive. I only come here for certain BoGos, the deli, barkery, and take out meals. The rest of it is way cheaper pretty much anywhere else you would choose to shop. Use their app for some special offers and coupons, which combined withe the BoGos can make it affordable.”

The bakery is great and the pre made fried chicken and rotisserie chicken is always good. My hubby likes the subs. Produce is always nice and fresh. I like to buy berries at this location.”

“Store is clean each time I visit. The staff are polite, and professional, they have a wide variety of items, including pickles, boiled peanuts, pickled eggs, and pickled sausages. They have a sign that informs that they sell fresh Cuban Sandwiches, as well as wine. A large variety of cold drinks. I appreciate that prices are clearly marked.”

“One of the best stocked and friendliest Publix supermarkets in Tampa although almost all of them are to me. This south Tampa store carries a great variety of everything plus extended additional items you don't find in all Publix stores like the Arizona Peach Diet Iced Tea that I love but can't get at Walgreen's or most supermarkets anymore since the pandemic. Also the higher level Italian style pasta sauces like Mid's and Silver Palate brands, always great produce including organic items and wonderful meats and fish. I've been shopping at the S. Dale Mabry store since the early 2000's when I first moved to south Tampa from Clearwater. I presently live near Brandon in the east part of the Tampa region but go to this Publix after work which is close by to my office.”

“Everytime I shop at this location, everyone is helpful and friendly. Today especially. I used the shopping basket and actually needed a cart. With no hesitation, one of the employees asked if I wanted a cart and I told him yes please and he ran and grabbed a cart for me. Thank you for making a difference!”
“Clean store. A bit smaller than the other surrounding Publix's, but way better than the one on Bayshore. Selection was good and I like how they have their premade salads in the cooler with the doors compared to the other locations. No reason for anything less than 5 stars. Staff was helpful and friendly. Parking isn't great, but it is what it is for the location.”

“Best Cuban sandwiches in Tampa in my opinion. Store is a little small, can be a little crowded when busy and the wait for sandwiches can be a little long if busy but that's at no fault of the staff. Staff is friendly and like already mentioned by far best Cuban sandwiches in town and at a unbeatable price”

“I already want to come back and I'm still eating. Lol. The food is so good! It's super homey and well seasoned. I had the beef with cheese pide...soooo cheesy and warm with crusty bread, the lacmakun which is super thin flat bread, and chicken kebab. We ate every single morsel.”
