The worst customer service. Rude employees. Not accommodating. Not kind or helpful. They tell you 24 hours for pick up and tell you it will be a week before they can pick up. If you do not have enough employees, then you don't commit or advertise commitment. Then they overcharge you. Would never use again or recommend!

Beware Smart Move's fine print. Broke near new 60" 4k UHD Tv and long TV stand with shelving. Be sure to look for all the reasons the insurer they use won't pay for what they break. Especially if you are elderly and handicapped, make sure you have made an Informed Decision before using Smart Move's services.

We cannot say enough great things about Smart Move, and everyone at the company. We have moved a total of 6 times in the last 7 years (moves within NY, from NY to FL, and within FL) and Smart Move is hands down the best company we have worked with. From the initial virtual walk-through to provide us with an accurate quote, to the full-service packing service and moving our belongings (and large pieces of furniture) to storage and finally to our home, Hannah was extremely responsive and incredibly accommodating. We had to reschedule our moves 3 times (all at the last minute due to complications with our contractor), and each time, Hannah responded within the hour (sometimes within minutes) and rescheduled us without delay. She even proactively reached out and let us know of two better time slots right before a scheduled move! The movers, Sal and Rob, packed everything with such care that not a single item was broken. The only thing that broke was 2 wine glasses but that's because I dropped them when unwrapping! Sal and Cameron delivered our items and they worked quickly, efficiently and took amazing care with setting us back up. I could keep going but we are obviously extremely happy with Smart Move with their transparency in pricing and their professionalism. I cannot recommend them enough. Hopefully we won't be moving anytime soon but if we do, we will definitely call on Smart Move first! Thank you again!

Smat Move is a locally owned moving company that functions like a national corporation with a home town service ethic. We recently rented a container to store our home furnishings while we had our floors redone. They sook the time to walk ne through my pricing options and delivered and picked up the unit in a timely and efficient manner. My husband and I are so happy we chose to spend our money locally, this is a company worth every penny. Stay local folks.

They were hired by our insurance company during a leak repair. They broke several items including one of a kind Italian Ceramic piece and then tried to cover it up! They took the broken piece left the rest of the bowl and then we had to call them and ask what happened. The process to get it repaired, they will not reimburse you even if you show a receipt, took 3 months and they lied several times and did not care about the customer's experience. Humans make mistakes, it's what you do with them that matters. This company will take no ownership and will make it very difficult for the right thing, or what you want, to be done. BUYER BEWARE. Update: They actually called the police when I refused to sign their form saying they did an acceptable job. STAY AWAY!

This company is very unprofessional and inconsiderate. I was sold a false contract. One of their representatives, Dillion James, lied to me about the guidelines on pricing, claiming I was being charged by the weight of the boxes. The original price I was given was even verified by another worker of the company. When it later came time to move I was charged on the quantity of boxes I had and not the weight, which was NOT the original agreement. I was scammed and threatened of having my deposit canceled which resulted in me being forced to pay an additional $376I have addressed my terrible experience with another supervisor Jessica who apologized for their mistake but was never offered further assistance. They’ve ignored my issue altogether, and have rudely been neglecting my calls. Do not book business with them!

We used smart move for our move last week. I could not say enough good things about this company. The office rep was super friendly and accommodating. The quote given was spot on. We had Brody and James complete the actual move and these guys were FAST but extremely careful. They did not want me lifting a finger! They moved our entire house from St. Pete to Bradenton in under 4 hours including drive time. Everything was cared for and packed perfectly that nothing was damaged. Before they left they made sure to ask if we needed anything moved around/if we changed our minds on placement of any items. I would definitely recommend and would use again if needed!!! Thank you again Brody and James you both killed it!

There isn't a time when I call Smart Move for assistance, that I'm not greated by AMAZING customer service. I was just tellingHeather that I've never been told "no" or "Im not sure we can do that". You ALWAYS make it happen.

Horrible experience with this company from the 1st phone call. I DON'T recommend. Their customer service was despicable on the phone trying to set up a move for my elderly mother. As if moving isn't stressful enough to add rude people answering the phones when you are trying to schedule a complex move to two locations on two days. You would think "they are customer service specialist, they are there to assist you and help"...NOPE! Rude, Impatient, just nasty. SAVE YOURSELF the headache. Deal with professionals and AVOID this company at all costs!

I have had several large and small moves in my life, and I can honestly say I’ve never had such a professional, great team of movers as I did with Smart Move. Jeremy, Mario, and Dudley were an organized, patient, hard working team. They kept an upbeat demeanor throughout what was a difficult move...polite, respectful, always with smiles,...a team of quick, efficient, very helpful, all around good people. Giselle set everything up and was a pleasure to work with. She answered all my questions and patiently addressed all my concerns. I highly recommend Smart Move and would definitely hire them again.

Moving day for us from St Petersburg to Bradenton was made easy and worry free from the moment James and Kelvin parked the van in front of our home. They took excellent care of our belongings. Each piece was wrapped and carried carefully as it was loaded into the van. James and Kelvin were very pleasant and cheerful and had an excellent work ethic. They worked nonstop. When they unloaded our belongings into the new house they were flexible and had good suggestions for furniture placement in the rooms. We were more than satisfied with this moving company but especially with James and Kelvin. A home move could be so stressful, but when the van pulled away our whole family was smiling.
