We stayed at this hotel for the convenience of going to Busch Gardens. Wow did we pick the right place.
There is a shuttle that runs back and forth to Busch Gardens, a great breakfast spread, pool, and than there is Taryn at the front desk. She is amazing!
Her knowledge of local spots and what the hotel has to offer is off the charts! She is very kind and like your friend from next door. She seems to always be there and offering her help for all your needs.
We will definitely stay here again when we come to do a mini vaca to Busch Gardens.

I've stayed in that Hampton Inn Busch Gardens Tampa for 5 Years. And, Well? Spend most of 2 to 3 Years staying in that Hotel. The Hotel was really great. The Breakfast was awesome! The Staff was really nice and Friendly. And Trina & Charles, they treat me like family. I can't wait to come back sometime soon. I love this hotel. And I can't wait to spent most of the holidays here in this beautiful Tampa hotel.

Spent two days with my grandson for his first bush gardens trip on July 25-26 2024.
Looked on Expedia to compare amenities and quality of the continental breakfast and shuttle to park. we entered the hotel and couldn’t find the lobby because it was all torn out. We had to walk through construction area and my 4 year old grandson fell on debris on the floor. we found somebody in one of the hotel rooms that took my credit card went in the back and then returned it to me with a key for a room. While we were waiting a woman told me to run. Don’t check in here. They had just checked in and were leaving after 10 minutes. She showed me pictures of the room and the mattress that was disgusting. The next morning we went down for breakfast before Busch Gardens, and they had closed the restaurant down because of the construction that was one of the reasons I had picked that hotel and nobody told us the whole first floor was shut down the restrooms by the pool, the restaurant The snack shop.
I wish I had picked another hotel. There were four hotels about the same price with the same amenities on the same street. They definitely should’ve let their guest know that all the amenities were closed down, but they were still charging full price. to make things worse we went to Busch Gardens, and everything shut down because of rain and lightning. I called them to pick us up. We waited in the rain 45 minutes. I called again. No one answered the phone so I walked 2 miles home carrying a 50 pound sleeping grandson and pulling a wagon in the rain. When I got back to the hotel, the shuttle was sitting there, and nobody was using it. if you’re thinking of staying here don’t run like the woman told me and I should have done!! Worst hotel experience I’ve ever had and they charge me $150 a night

Terrible experience. Was told it was under construction, which was fine. However, It ended up being a terrible mess. No breakfast…except for bread and water in a bag. Rude staff. Avoid this hotel for now.

Our hotel visit was quite disappointing and definitely not at all acceptable with the kind of expectations of a Hampton Inn Hotel. Our stay was from June 8th through June 11th. It was a planned all girls trip and my nieces were going to a concert at Yuengling Center on June 9th. We wanted to be close proximity to the concert venue, and opted for your property, after checking your website, which portrays a completely different picture, as compared to actuality. We knew that Busch Gardens was across the way, and figured the neighborhood was safe. To our dismay, our ride from the airport showed a totally different side. The first thing I asked the concierge was, "Is this area safe?" Of course his response was "Yes," but that was expected of him.
The service from the staff, with the exception of concierge, was horrific. The rooms were unsanitary and foul smelling, along with various maintenance issues that seemed neglected.
On Monday June 10th housekeeping came to clean our room. My niece had her phone charger plugged into the outlet next to the chaise lounge, directly, by the sofa bed. That's where she left it, and we went by the pool area. Upon our return, her charger was not there. It was a striking and unusual blue charger that lite up, with a longer cord and dual charging station. We went to the concierge desk. Pam, the Manager, was very apologetic and immediately called housekeeping. We thought she might of unplugged it while cleaning, and placed it somewhere else.
Upon their arrival, we obviously could see they were defensive and the housekeeper, who didn't speak a word of English, denied ever seeing it. Obviously, a lie. The housekeeping Manager, named Mirlande, was disrespectful and demeaning, like talking to a BRICK WALL. No apology, no empathy, whatsoever. She kept on saying, "It's impossible for her maid to steal, since there are cameras everywhere." "Hello Mirande," There aren't any cameras in guest's rooms, and the item in question had to be physically unplugged, and could easily be hidden anywhere on the body. Mirande also said she checks her staff's carts every night, before they go home. Why? Unless there have been more incidences like this? Mirande needs to be trained on how to speak to guests and how to better handle situations like this. She is rude, and shouldn't be a Manager. Everything was swept under the rug and nothing was addressed further. Horrific customer service!
Breakfast was descent, with a variety to choose from. However, on our last day, a random person, off the street, came in, made himself a plate of food and walked out with it. I overheard the staff say that he does this every other day. Why hasn't this been addressed? That made me question the safety of the site itself. Management has to be more involved and be aware of what's going on.

The Hilton hotels and their associated hotels are always very nice and clean!
The service here is excellent and the rooms are clean!
Only defective or damaged objects should be replaced, otherwise the rooms will look really old!
All in all a great hotel
