“The restaurant is connected to a Latino grocery store. It's not fancy, as is the case with most great taco spots, but the food was delicious! I had a beef tostada, an Al Pastor taco and a chorizo taco. The women working at the register were also incredibly friendly and welcoming. So happy to have found this local gem!”

“Really Great Bodega! Got the spinach & artichoke, chicken, & beef empanadas, all hit the spot but I was partial to the chicken. Cafe con leche was strong & delicious. Cookie & Brownie was very good, partial to the chocolate chip cookie. AND the peanut butter cheesecake!!! If I lived here, I would be a regular.”

“Went on a friend's recommendation. It's in a small strip mall - doesn't look like much from the outside. They have a wide variety of meats at unbelievably low prices. Bought 7 pounds of filet at $6.99 a pound. Have to buy in 3-5 pound pieces and it had some fat and sinew but after cutting it all off, had 6 1/2 pounds of really nice filet. Probably would have tried some other cuts, but only a couple had English names and I didn't know what most of them were. The place was packed and people were buying very large quantities of meat - not surprising at their prices. Wish they had a bigger seafood selection at their low pricing.”

My mom even wants to stop by this Publix when she visits because the Pub Subs made by the staff there are always top notch. “This is a great little mom-and-pop shop. It's one of those places it's so close to your house and use it so frequently mistakes and then all states of disarray happiness or whatever her motion life drags you through. They have reasonable prices all of their inventory is extremely fresh and New Haven Health hospital to it and they sell fresh vegetables and fruit that get Bonnie, farm every day a little different things you can get there and they are always extremely kind to me and anyone else.”

“O.M.GOODNESS! Emphasis on GOODNESS! My husband and I drove from Spring Hill (about an hour one way) to Cacciatore Bros looking to buy some good beef. We were not disappointed! We chose bacon wrapped filet mignon, and it literally melted in my mouth. SO GOOD! The sausage and cheese counters were packed with lots of selections, the grocery items were plentiful with different brands, and the produce and frozen sections offered a variety as well. We will definitely be going back! You can check out their weekly ad on their Facebook page. We also stopped at Cacciatore and Sons, but were not impressed. In fairness, it was later in the day, and maybe they had sold out of most meat items. Cacciatore Bros on Hanley Rd in Tampa is worth the drive!”

“I had stopped in here previously and was happy to find fresh sliced halal turkey. Unfortunately couldn’t remember the name when I wanted to return, so I went to three other international markets nearby. Amana is the only one with deli turkey, so I’m so glad I was able to find it again! The brother at the counter is very helpful and kind. I had asked for some spinach pies and meat pies from the display and he insisted to go to Amana Bakery next door to get some that were freshly made (he did the same for the gentleman before me). Best spinach pies I have ever had - even better than mom’s! May God bless you all.”

“Very attractive, new Publix with lots of prepared food options. I had heard that Publix now offered a Chipotle-style Mexican food bar, and I was curious. I arrived at noon, and there was no line (there was a line at the deli, though). I opted for a custom bowl. The actual bowl was pretty much identical to the bowls used at Chipotle, although it had a plastic top rather than a foil top. I opted for the chili lime rice, the black beans, the chicken verde, pico de gallo, pickled onions jalapenos, cheese and cilantro. The food wasn't piping hot, but it was hot enough. The pickled onions were too sweet. Everything else was pretty unremarkable, and frankly, as the price point is similar to Chipotle, I'd prefer to go to Chipotle. This Publix also has a wine/beer bar, and pizza area, and sushi bar, in addition to the deli with hot and cold foods. And it's a grocery store! Would I come back here for lunch? No, probably not. I prefer to make my own lunch or go out to a proper restaurant. But it's a nice grocery store in its own right.”
