My now wife went in person to visit various venue locations. I desired to have a water front wedding ceremony, and there were various options at the time. What really sold us on the DoubleTree by Hilton was the professionalism portrayed by Barbara Tyler (Sales Manager), the head catering, head chef, and hotel management. We knew we were in good hands with Barbara as she was straight forward with us, very responsive to our questions, and timing on logistics with both us and our wedding coordinator.
We were able to have the water front ceremony desired. What was magical is that during the ceremony, two dolphins were uniting in the background and it was caught on camera. Turns out dolphins are my wife's favorite animal. The outdoor site was well prepared after experiencing a brush with hurricane Helene. We were blessed that our wedding dodged the traumatic impact the hurricane Milton left when it impacted the hotel just after our wedding.
Up front with the tasting, the head chef and management came out to meet us as we tried to various dishes. The food then and at the reception was exquisite and delightful.
On the weekend of our magical event, Barbara caught up with us to make sure things were going as expected and worked quite well with our coordinator. The staff was fantastic in and out of the reception. Between the hotel, coordinator, and our master of ceremony (DJ), our reception was epic! I am not quite sure they were ready for such a nerdy couple to have such as bombastic reception and four grown adults switch from wedding attire to cosplay.
The fact that most of the attendants said it was the most fun wedding they ever attends speaks more words than we can portray in this review. We highly recommend the DoubleTree by Hilton.

Extremely Disappointing Stay
I recently stayed at this hotel, and it was an experience I would not wish on anyone. From the moment I entered my room, it was clear that maintenance and cleanliness were not priorities. The air conditioning unit was extremely loud, making it almost impossible to get a good night’s sleep. Every time the toilet was flushed, it took over an hour to refill the tank, and even then, it made an awful noise while doing so.
To make matters worse, I discovered a cockroach in the bathroom, which was shocking and unacceptable. The overall condition of the room and hotel was rundown, with visible signs of neglect everywhere. I cannot stress enough how much I regret staying here and will never return. Do yourself a favor and stay away from this place – there are much better options out there.

Extremely dirty pool, nasty bathroom with black mold covered with white ugly silicone. I had allergic trigger and could not stop sneezing, I was sick for a day after that smell and mold in room. Broken door. Smelly carpet. Lizards in room. Nice view. $20 for parking that was not even working had to call to get out. Nice gym. The hotel had emergency call and we had to evacuate just to be ignored by staff. So we waited and just went back, nobody apologized or even told it was faulty emergency… not staying there again.

Started off with Debra making my stay very pleasant! She answered every question and went above and beyond to make sure I as the customer was satisfied. Now to the bad stuff. They charge $20 per day for parking that I wasn't aware of until they gave me the parking permit. The gates was inoperable and had to wait for someone to buzz you in and out. You had to call the front desk for that happen. They charge $75 for early check in but had rooms ready, I'll never understand that. If a room is ready when someone checks in, check them in! If yoi check out early, you dont get prorated so..... The worse thing is, for continental breakfast it is a charge of $21.50, you serve yourself and after I was half way finished, they gave me a bill. I would stay here again with the understanding of these charges.

The front desk is very friendly. The rooms could be cleaner. And every time I go to the bar, the bartender is serving the entire bar. This bar is always understaffed. The bar/restaurant was closed for lunch. It was not the first time I had seen this when I stayed there. If my company hadn't put me up there, I definitely wouldn't stay there. Manage, do better!

I stayed here for 12 nights and it was a great experience. Everybody went out of their way to make sure I was comfortable! I want to give a shout out to my favorite bartenders! Geoff, Nick, George, Tori, and Croix “BIG DOGG GOTTA EAT!!”

The hotel is located right on the water and has great views! The service was also amazing and the front staff were friendly and professional.
The only reason i did not put 5 stars is due to the room and hallway having a bad smell. Smelt like the walls and carpet were damp for a very long time. Kinda musty smelling. Everything else about this hotel was great though and i would still highly recommend

Do NOT stay at this hotel. The manager is never there and never answers to be honest. I stayed there for the weekend for a concert that unfortunately was cancelled. While my girlfriend was getting ready for the concert, using her dyson and hair iron, the staff left a letter under the door stating we were smoking in the room. So i automatically got charged $300. Which we do not smoke. After telling the front desk, they told us they understand however could not do anything because ONLY the manager could. I was given a number of the manager and left multiple voicemail messages. No response. Months later still no response. Will never EVER stay here again. Horrible.

The front desk personnel were always welcoming and accommodating. A special shout-out to Rubin, who was friendly and helpful in answering all my questions. Because of his excellent service, I’m keeping this review at 5 stars. That said, the bartenders were inconsistent in welcoming guests and lacked the warmth that frequent travelers look for. A refresher in hospitality would go a long way. On the bright side, the food was good, so kudos to the kitchen staff. The location is lovely, and I slept well. Overall, a solid day!
Rooms: Need updates and hallways near elevator were leaking when it rained. They put towels out and left them there for at least 2 days from what I remembered.

Rooms are kinda outdated, half the outlets and usb A ports are not working. There are no USB C ports, fixtures coming out of the wall from previous repairs, first floor smells old probably from the pool traffic. AC works excellent, TV service nice.

The hotel was very complete. It was in a quiet and quiet area which made resting very comfortable. Getting there was very easy and check-in was quick and agile.
The facilities were in perfect condition. The pool is large with plenty of space to be outdoors. As for the room: it was large, spacious and perfect for a family.
We used the restaurant one of the nights and it was very good, I would also recommend it.

I made the reservation over the phone directly with Double Tree right after the hurricane. When I got to the property, I was surprised with $50 a night extra fee and $20 a night parking fee. I don't like surprises like that, but the room was nice and clean. Air conditioning worked great.
