The clerk was wondering, she did not act as if she never saw a black person before!! I live about one hour from the place and willing to drive that distance for a friendly smile! Store was clean and spacious..I love all the discount from using the app!

Of all the dollar generals in all the world, this one is simply the one that has the most selection of scotch tape items I have ever known to have been held in one store. The juice collection was also good. Customer service is an art form that this store has perfected with the exception of parking attendant

I don’t appreciate being followed around the entire store as I shop! I’ve been to this location plenty of times and this was the first time I’ve ever had someone follow the entire time I shopped! Mind you I am a black woman being followed by a white employee (young man). Please do better because every blacks person does not steal!

I have been shopping here since they opened some years back. The Young man who helped me yesterday was very nice and helpful. I believe he was a Manager so no complaints there. However everything you buy you have to check the expiration dates. They are way overpriced and most of the time the prices that are listed on the shelves are not what comes up when you check out. They Have a Pop Shelf in there which is interesting and looks nice but in my opinion very cheaply made product. Last week I went in there to pick up a Bell Pepper, wanted just one. The price was almost $3 for a saggy bell pepper. ? There's no way I will pay that price for a bell pepper ! Went down the street to Winn Dixie thier price was $.75 . The heads of lettuce are overpriced and very small. The bags of salad are usually wilted in the bags and the price for them is also high. I will no longer be shopping there on a regular like I use to. I will spend the extra gas to go elsewhere. The parking lot needs work. They don't have any hand or cart wipes when you walk in. Those are important due to colds and flu etc.. Other than the young man from yesterday I don't really care for the New Managment. It was a decent store at one point but just like Winn Dixie down the road they both could be better in cleaning and hire people who at the very least act like they like thier job. Stock is always in the way there and the shelves in the food section is mostly empty these days.Did I mention the ridiculous high prices for expired products?

I went in the morning to shop at dollar before surgery and my card did not swipe, they manually put my information in and done, i was on my way out...unfortunately i needed some items after my surgery (3 hours after i went to dollar general i am now in recovery) so i sent my husband in with the same card. it also did not want to swipe. For some reason Rudolph and Amber told my husband that if he didn't have an ID to match the EBT card, they cant service him. When i called the store they stated that due to the amount of fraud in this specific location that they must now ask for ID's. I guess they only ask people of color because they didnt ask me once for an ID, yet they ask my husband for one. I'm extremely dissatisfied with this experience. I pray no one has to go through this type of discrimination.
