I scheduled them for 9am about 3 days before my move. First, they asked me to do it a day earlier, which I could not- okay. Second the DAY OF THE MOVE they did not show at 9am. I called at 9:15am to ask about where they were. The man said he would check and call back. At 9:30am he texted me and said the "truck broke down and he would call when he could." After an hour, I sent him a text about updates- radio silence. I called around that time ( approx 11:30am)- again, no answer. I sent another message about updates- guess what? NO RESPONSE. Surprise!Absolutely unprofessional and poor work ethic. Pay the extra money and find a company that will actually show up on time and communicate with you. If I could give this 0 stars, I absolutely would.

They never showed up. They day it was time to move they weren't here. I had to call another moving company. And wait to move another date.

The worst experience ever. They took 5 months to deliver my belongings. They were supposed to deliver directly to my new location but put my stuff in storage. Charged me almost double what my binding estimate was and half my belongings were missing when they finally delivered after being contacted by the police. Their only response to that was the storage unit is empty. I've reported them to the DOT, the FL Attorney General Office and they're being investigated along with the broker who hires them out for fraudulent moving practices and theft. I have dozens and dozens of texts from them demanding that I wire transfer money and he'll send me the keys to the storage unit instead of delivering. Threatening to sell my stuff if I don't pay him more. The $2836 move I contracted for has cost me well over $9000 and when they were just contacted today in regards to my charges against them they are claiming I still owe them $1500. Save yourself the time and expense and hire a reputable company.

Disgusting will never call or consider them again... they had three huge men and they allowed the whimpyist guy to say " these things were too heavy"...wasted my time and hired two guys that did the job in 3 hours...the best people to call is Wesley Chapel Movers!!!! Look them up...leave Affordable movers alone, they suck!

I had four major moves in the past 12 years and this company was the absolute worst. They quoted me a price then charged me over $3000 more after the truck was loaded. I have emails confirming the total price of the move and that I was paying for the entire truck but they refused to honor their price. The most upsetting part of the move, however was not being ripped off, it was all the broken items from poor packing. They literally just put everything in boxes with no regard for our possessions. Our move was about four weeks ago but I wanted to wait until I was not so upset to write this review. We have so many broken belongings it's ridiculous. The dishes were the only items packed with care so very few broke but furniture, pictures, vaces, and many valuable antiques are broken, scratched, or ruined beyond repair. These people (Specifically Jake, Issac, and Geo) lied to me and took me for over $3000. They are dishonest to say the very least. They assured me they have all their own vehicles but when the truck arrived it was a third party. I'm glad it was, at least he was a good guy. He even told me after delivery that they had issues with Affordable Movers and his company will not be working with them anymore. I even received a call from one of the men that was hired to load the truck telling me he quit that company and he believes they overcharged me and were very unethical. I am also making a report to the BBB. Beware and please do not use this company. It was a horrific experience that I wouldn't wish on anyone. I have documentation and pictures to prove it. I am a long time nurse and a honest person and I was completely scammed. Please don't let it happen to you.
