When I was told a total knee replacement (TKR) was in my near future, I went and visited different PT clinics in Tallahassee. The reason why I chose TOSPT was because of the confidence the DPTs had in handling my recovery. I had a TKR in the middle of January 2023 and started outpatient PT three times a week with Dr. Owen's at the end of January. It has been a very challenging recovery which I could not have done without the entire staff. I was guided, encouraged, and supported at each visit not only with the physical recovery but also with the motivation to continue working towards recovery. There were days where I did not believe I would be functional again and on those days the staff believed for me. I was a college athlete, I was very active before TKR and I am moving towards being as active as I can be in my future. I feel like the staff understands me as an individual patient and I get the care I need to continue to be as functional as I can be in the future. When I have an issue or question, I get an answer with a resolution to move forward. I recommend TOSPT without reservation for any PT needs.

I've been plagued with lower back pain, spasms for over a year. Combination of getting old and a congenital defect. Orthopedic surgeon doesn't recommend surgery at this time, rather physical therapy to strengthen my core and increase flexibility. The Orthopedic office provided me with a list of recommended Physical Therapy locations in the Tally area. There aren't many with reviews on Yelp. I chose Tallahassee Orthopedic & Sports Physical Therapy. My first appointment was a meet and greet, fact finding and review of my history. Started seeing them 2x per week for 5 weeks now. Tina is my therapist. She's knowledgeable and genuinely cares for her clients. Diligent at focusing on my issues. I've been given various exercises to do as homework (I'm not a good student, I'm compliant about 50% of the time. Results to date have been terrific. Of late, I'm pain free and my flexibility is greatly improving along with stronger core muscles. The facility is clean and well equipped. If you're looking for a physical therapy facility, give TOSPT a try. They're located on Capital Circle NE.

Pretty late to write a review, but I'm so grateful that I found this place. I suffered from a neck whiplash injury as an outcome of an auto accident. I had horrible neck pains and occasional but severe headaches, and none of the PT clinics I had tried before could help. I took 20 sessions at TOSPT working with Tina, and my neck pain disappeared for a year now! I can't be more thankful than this. Tina is super friendly. She is caring, and she is highly expert!

This is a group of talented, caring professionals. I appreciate that my provider(s) have significant training in physical therapy, and collaborate with me to quickly diagnose the issue(s) and develop a treatment plan. The office staff is efficient, pleasant and helpful. If you are in need of PT, this is the place to go in Tallahassee.

My 1st experience was more than I expected. The staff and my physical therapist was friendly and welcoming. My physical therapist was patient with me and concerned about my overall health. I will definitely be going back.

The staff are not polite. They are messy and miserable. Find a better and more welcoming rehabilitation center. TOSPT is not it. Interns please don't bother the staff are horrible.

Unbelievably positive experience at TOSPT. As a professional fighter, I went through a total ACL reconstruction, strained rotator cuff, and a herniated disc in my neck all in the same year. TOSPT is the reason I am still fighting and able to pursue my passion. In the same week that I had a doctor tell me I would never fight again, I had a therapist at TOSPT assure me that although it would be difficult, I would make it back into the ring within a year without surgery. Less than a year later, I fought 2 times in one day at an international tournament and I have them to thank for it. Years later, I came to their location when I re injured my neck and they treated me like family. There aren't enough stars on this list to express how happy I am with their services. If you are an athlete in the Tallahassee area that has a history of injury with no current injury, look at their PTplus program. Its a unique option for healthy athletes or other private citizens to use their facility and pick their brains to stay healthy and correct muscular imbalances that lead to chronic injury.

Unfortunately we cannot give any more stars than 2 because we never got to see a physical therapist. We were told to arrive 20 mins early to fill out new patient paperwork. It only took 5 mins on the tablet they gave us. The actual appointment time came and went, and we were still sitting in the waiting room. After 15 mins we went to the desk and we're told that the PT was running a few mins behind. Another 15 mins and at least 9 patients had come and gone and still no one even checked with us to let us know what was going on . A total of an hour and ten mins of our time wasted.All it would have taken was for someone to have come out and let us know what was going on.
