The appointment was quick and easy. The staff were courteous and considerate. This is my go location for MRI’s, X-rays, CT Scans, and more.

I was referred here by my doctor for a biopsy of a nodule on the LEFT side thyroid and lymph node on the right side of my neck. My experience with this office turned into an absolute nightmare. The fluid collected from my lymph node was mislabeled as RIGHT Thyroid. The right side of my thyroid WAS NOT BIOPSIED. These biopsies came back positive for cancer but the mistake that was made completely changes the prognosis and the recommended surgical plan. The pathology report indicated that the cancer has not spread, which is clearly not the case since the mislabeled fluid from my lymph node was also positive. So on top of being newly diagnosed with cancer, I had to fight to get them to clean up their mess. I drove 3 1/12 hours out of town to get another biopsy because of this. Absolutely would not recommend this place to anyone.

I work in healthcare so was not surprised by the long delay. I was however very disappointed that the MRI tech was unwilling to accommodate me being present with my child who has anxiety. She’s been very sick lately and doing many tests which is affecting her mental health. I’ve been told that it’s possible to let parents stay with their children during exams so don’t understand why we were denied that small bit of comfort for her. It seems like it was the personal preference of the tech. It was a bad experience.

Edit: when I went in for my actual appointment everyone was very nice and comforting. I even had a nice little conversation about my nails and told a staff member where I got them. I feel like perhaps the person on the phone was having a bad day or overwhelmed.I got a call from Radiology and they assured me this isn’t usual and spoke with the person in question, I really appreciated the call and their willingness to take action. I believe them when they say it’s not aligned with their policies, and it also made me think about how I reacted to the call as well. Thank you Radiology Associates. When I called on the day of a storm I got a woman on the phone who was apathetic and rude. I asked if they were still taking their appointments considering the weather outside (many other establishments were closed and this one hadn’t answered their phone previously) and she bluntly said “if you made it and didn’t cancel it…yes”Hire people who actually want to help, it’s not kind to be rude to someone especially in the medical field. You don’t know what we are coming in for or if we are nervous. Being rude is the last thing anyone needs in these situations.

Omg-I’ve got Medicare-they have taken pictures of my card so many times and still say I’m not covered. Medicare paid and they are double billing me..they are pocketing the money. People pay then insurance pays-I’m not that stupid..what a scam!!! Today I got a bill from 10-11. Really?? Telling me I owe the whole amount. Dishonest people!!

I went to Radiology Associates of Tallahassee recently for a prostate MRI. The staff there were okay. They didn't make me wait long to get my MRI. I like their location : has a nice size parking lot. What I don't like is their patient portals, which are kind of hard to navigate. I also don't like how their medical records department will fax medical records very easily and willingly to doctors, but not to me personally, even if I fill out a medical release of information form. Their administrator, William Tully told me that they don’t email, fax or mail medical records to patients, because Mr Tully says these are not secure avenues. That is so ridiculous, because if they willingly fax medical records to doctors, then certainly patients are entitled to at least have medical records mailed or faxed to them.I also disagree that Radiology Associates of Tallahassee takes so long to put MRI results in the patient portals. I was verbally told at my MRI appt that the wait is 3 to 5 days; Mr Tully told me today that I would have to wait 8 days. That is way too long! MRI results should be put in patient portals within 3 days or so at the most. For MRI scans, however, I do recommend this place.

Horrible policies yes I changed the rating from five stars to one because I can't go to zero. I received a physical CT scan request from my doctor in Tampa radiology associates wanted me to fax it to them or email it to them to schedule an appointment while I was driving the representative said that's our policy I've been talked to a supervisor and neither say I hung up and I don't have a plan on going here unless I absolutely have to I will forget about the $100 I get for doing things at their facility from my insurance company.

Elisa, I really appreciate your great customer service which is rare these days. You go above and beyond the call of duty and you do it so very easily. Which in my opinion you wear it ? The first day that I met you I ran into a little snag and you were on point. I've noticed how you treat each customer being very attrentive to their needs so much so that In conversations with others we feel like you've grafted us into your family. So Kudos to you young lady and know that we take notice of the GEM that you are So.. keep up the good work. ????

My PCP sent me to this place to get an exam done. Have to say the facility is pristine. It stands out, big and tall, with plenty of free parking and lots of space with a modern look both inside and out. The first floor directs you where you need to go. I had to go to the second floor and check in there. I believe there are three floors total. At any rate, I was essentially in and out. They were actually on time and my technician, Kayla, was super friendly. I do have to say though that the lady at the second floor check-in desk could've been friendlier. The lady just handed me paperwork to fill out and said good morning and that's that. There weren't even a lot of people and it was a Friday. Sheesh. Only docking a star for that one short interaction.

I had a hysterosalpingogram in November 2022. I was anxious about it and anticipating having pain due to a history of painful procedures. I called them to discuss and they said, "aww, that's a shame," and indicated there was not anything else I could do other than take ibuprofen or motrin before the procedure. I also often have back pain due to an extruded disc and discectomy in my lower back. The HSG exacerbated this problem by causing severe cramping and spasms while laying on their flat cold metal table. I had mechanical pain for about a week after the procedure and eight months later I am working on recovering my lower back to baseline. For "most people" this is an "uncomfortable but not painful" procedure, but I had concerns due to my history, and they were disregarded. I was right, unfortunately. This place is a factory and there is no such thing as individualized care. Women's pain is ignored.

Was referred here by my primary care doctor only to find out after waiting quite a long time they could not see me without approval from my insurance company. Talk to my insurance who told me they have everything they need. Went back only to be turned down again. Insurance company had to call them. Third day they finally called me and told me they had what had been sent over on the first day.
