“This supermarket caters the ethnic communities of Lauderhill and Sunrise. Many of the items are of Hispanic and Caribbean origin, which makes it great for those wanting to make regional recipes. I have stopped here a few times to get some of their produce but I have also gotten rice and other dry groceries. They have a wine section with great values on 750 ml bottles. Many of the people working here speak Spanish, so it's easy to communicate if Spanish is your first language. Several cash registers are usually open for easy check out.”

“This Bravo is okay if you need something in a pinch. I prefer the on Sunset Strip though and do my shopping there. The prices are cheaper, they have a bigger selection of products and they have sales that this Bravo doesn't participate in. Once I got a pack of meat here that tasted like it had been in cleaning chemicals so I don't trust meat here anymore. I love Bravo though.”

“This place is awesome. It's an authentic Asian market tucked into the corner of a strip mall. And they have everything from live frogs to rice cookers. If you're making an Asian recipe and you need a particular ingredient, this is the place to go. For those of you who are not familiar with Asian culture, the smell is not what you would expect. As I said, they have live frogs. They also have a large seafood department and the fish is fresh, and not wrapped, like you would see in an American supermarket. In short, there is an odor to the place that might take some getting used to. If it's too strong, turn left and head to the other side of the store. The smell isn't as strong there. Then work your way to the east side.There are people there who can help you, if you can't find what you're looking for or you aren't sure about an item. Just ask.”
“The first Chinese supermarket I went to was at Sunrise. What attracted me was that there was a Sunrise Tea House, so I must order a cup of milk tea to drink. There are a lot of fresh seafood and pork. I like their fish ball hot pot series the most. , the uniform price can get the weight you want, 2.99~3.99 per pound, currently the largest Chinese supermarket in South Florida, a bit like a reduced version of Carrefour, great!”

“I have been shopping at Dollar General ever since it was in the Publix Plaza then moved to where it is now, beside Bank of America. I remember the owner at that time. He was a nice, friendly guy. I have continued to shop there because I like being able to park and quickly enter a store, get in and out. Today I walked in and the store was renovated. I like the new look. Yes us shoppers who were used to the old look and knowing where everything is, it was a fun challenge getting used to where things are now. The check out machine is new and the check out line is similar to Ross, Kohls, Burlington Coat Factory etc. I told the guy at the register that I liked the new look. He said that it took a week to get the store remodelled.”
