Love this place. Always Welcoming. Best prices and you feel confident actually leaving your car with them. Went in for oil change and to change my cabin air filter because I thought I needed it. Well I needed the oil change and didn't need the air filter replaced. Even after taking the time to remove my glove box to get to the filter. He stated mine was like brand new and didn't need it so they didn't do it or charge me. When does that ever happen. Go here there honest and reliable!!

Chris and Angel deserve a paid vacation after dealing with me. I got into an accident and they were fast, efficient and honest with the work. They are kind and patient cause I would call a lot and they were nice about it.

The worst experience I’ve had in the last 45 years. Had them put in a remanufactured Jeep engine less than a year ago, with a one year warranty. Chris Harris, the owner, found one in Miami, stating he had gotten really good remanufactured engines there from Miami engines in the past, that they stood by there work, and would get my Jeep back in about two weeks. Seven weeks later, I finally got it back, with every light possible on the dash blinking. Per Chris’ instructions, I carefully checked and changed the oil, and made sure the coolant levels were full. Nine months later, it threw a connecting rod while on the turnpike, destroying the engine. After having it towed back to Cartenders, I was told it might not be covered under warranty because it was my fault the engine over heated, and the engine would have to be returned to Miami Engines for inspection. I was told he would have the engine out and down to Miami by the following week for inspection. Four weeks later, it was still sitting on his lot, untouched, with the excuse he didn’t have a mechanic to work on it. I had to have it towed to another shop(Pinnacle Auto in Stuart- Awesome there), where they had the engine out and ready to be transported 2 days later. I had to transport the engine to Miami myself, only to be told they were not going to cover anything. After having to buy another motor( Auto zone for 1,300$ less than cartenders with a 4 year warranty)Wallace Jeep had the new motor in in 3 days. Bottom line, if you don’t want to be strung along, and lied to about how long he will have your vehicle, and lied to about being covered under warranty, take this post to heart and take it to a much more reputable place. I really recommend Pinnaccle Auto on Minterery, and or Wallace Jeep on US 1. Both did work a lot less expensively and ten times more quickly.

The best service ever! Highly recommend. The owner is very friendly and knowledgeable. His mechanics are the same and went above and beyond for me. If I ever need anything else worked on any of my vehicles I will be taking them there. I’m about 35 minutes away but I would drive an hour to get the these guys. Don’t take your car anywhere else.

Cartenders has been my go-to auto mechanic shop for years. I know I can trust Chris, Angel, and the rest of the team to diagnose my problem accurately, to fix only what’s really broken, and to keep my car in tip-top shape. They are personable, respectful, try to figure out ways to save their customers’ money when a problem has occurred, and they know what they’re doing. I have referred friends and family to them over the years, and everyone I have sent there has been very pleased with their experience. Cartenders is a Treasure Coast business jewel.

I called to make an appointment, they took my schedule into consideration. They got me in right away. Just needed an oil change but as my friend said, that referred me, they were very thorough. Checked the tires and all. Very impressed. Thank you for the great experience.

My car died in the middle of the road about a mile away from this shop, a kind gentleman was able to make my battery work and guided me to Cartenders, they ran two different machines for diagnostics and nothing came up , everything looked good ….they could’ve change my battery or alternator or whatever they wanted and I would’ve believe them , well they didn’t, they were kind and honest and made sure the car was good and safe to keep going .
I’ve heard it’s difficult to find an honest mechanic , I feel lucky I found them and although they are a bit far from me, they’ve earned my trust. If I ever need a mechanic, Cartenders in Stuart is the only place I’m going. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

I had an exceptional experience at Cartenders of Stuart! From Chris, the manager, who was incredibly prompt and attentive to Rick, the mechanic, whose personable and friendly demeanor made the service visit enjoyable. The work was completed efficiently and cost-effectively, and the quality was top-notch. Despite traveling all the way from Pembroke Pines, I found the journey entirely worthwhile. Trustworthiness in mechanics is paramount to me, and Cartenders of Stuart exceeded my expectations. Highly recommended!

Honest, Expert, auto repair and troubleshooting any mfr, excellent customer care
New to the area, was glad for the recommendation on Cartenders - Chris (owner) is a true “car guy” -they work on every auto type and manufacturer -even classics!
Very honest and thorough.. and like a good physician, wants follow-up to let them know if the repair solved the issue.. just excellent customer service all around. Grace provides great customer service and keeps you informed.
Absolutely recommended.
