I went in to buy jewelry and not even two minutes in was screamed at infront of the whole store being falsely accused of stealing. Never going back. have bought jewelry from them many times in the past. Very unprofessional.

1). We will never shop here again. And military folks, please do not shop here…as they are NOT military friendly. I have been a customer here for a few years. I’ve bought many pieces from them, to the point I crossed their “reward program” threshold after multiple visits, and was given a discount. We don’t live locally so we drove down to St. Augustine to use the reward discount and I found a piece of turquoise I liked. They stacked our military discount with it.
2) This year I received my birthday discount and we drove down to use it towards something along with the military discount. I found 2 pieces totaling almost $650. We asked about the discounts and were told they don’t stack them. My husband asked when this changed and if he could talk to someone, as we've always dealt with an older man and woman. The younger woman told him she was in charge, and that discount stacking was never a thing. She said if she found out who did that, she’d have fired them.
3). Before the issue above took place, we went in to browse and I saw a cuff I liked in the “American” and “Mexican” turquoise section. I tried it on and asked where it came from regionally, and was told golden hills…which is over seas in Kazakhstan. I was told it was lower grade and not as lavender blue as the other stones from that region, and was thus placed with the Sonoran green “Mexican” turquoise and a few other “green” turquoise pieces in that group. Yet the price was almost $300. It was sketchy that it was in there almost being passed off as “American or Mexican” turquoise. The little price tag says where it’s from, but for someone not versed in turquoise they wouldn’t think to ask. It’s not transparent.
4). We left before the discount debacle mentioned above. I wanted to browse in peace and the girl who initially helped us made me feel overwhelmed, because she kept talking. Even though I told her I was just looking and would let her know when I found what I liked, and that the piece had to be special because I already own so much turquoise from the business and private Navajo jewelers.
5). We came back after looking around the rest of the shops and the same girl tried talking to me again. She was asking me if I knew about mine #8 turquoise, which I do. And the mine was closed many years ago, but apparently it’s all back on the market and they had quite a few pieces. After speaking to her a little more, I asked about the origins of the other pieces I saw. She said some pieces we just don’t know where they’re from, and we’re moving away from labeling them because they are just too hard to tell apart. Yet they know they have mine #8 turquoise in their store? But, yet, she also didn’t know they had foreign turquoise in a mostly American turquoise case? Again, not transparent.
6). I finally found $650 worth of pieces I liked, bringing this all back to the first point. We were told no discount stacking. So we just walked. We will never shop there again. It just comes off as greedy and not a place we want to drop that type of money at ever again. Turquoise is one of the only things I wear, aside from my engagement diamond. We would have bought from this establishment for life. But, because they don’t want to honor a military discount, we will never be back. Again, military folks, please never shop here. Please just support the artists themselves.
Update to owner response: I’m sorry you think I missed the disclaimer portion of the combined discount in the fine print. If you allow your “voucher” to be stacked with a discount, it should be addressed in the fine print as well. It’s not transparent business. Finally, the issue I didn’t see addressed is your employees lack of knowledge and service skills. The younger of the two, who was uninformed on your products, and overly pushy. And the other, nasty when my husband went back in to clarify the discount. Openly saying she’d “punish” an employee to a customer is unprofessional. That in itself says enoug

This store has friendly and helpful staff as well as high quality, unique, and beautiful jewelry! While visiting from Georgia, I picked up a cuff bracelet for my daughter. When it didn’t fit, Dakota and Ellen were amazing at helping me exchange my bracelet for a better fit… and paid for the shipping to send me the new bracelet! I highly recommend this store and their quality jewelry for gift ideas!

Beautiful hand crafted silver, tons of crystals and gems, and awesome Native American art and gifts, including Minnetonka Moccasins! Definitely one of the cooler gift shops on St. George street. Check out their other location, Silver Creek while you're at it.
