I cannot express how thankful we are with the services of Dr. Green, Alyson and the entire staff of Westside Animal Clinic.
They treat your pet as their own and completely disregard their personal financial enrichment for the sake of the wellbeing of your pet. These are wonderful, caring, compassionate and loving people who do their absolute best to keep your pet healthy and going strong! We are grateful to have such a fantastic team in our area; you are the best! Thank you again so much for the love and care you have provided to our loving Border Collie, Joe!

We just moved to the area and they were able to get us seen in just a couple days, everyone was very friendly, and we were able to get done quickly. Glad to have my pets established

Awesome staff thank you to Dr Green thank you to Heather and Teresa on the tech that took care of us I had a Whopper freaked out thinking my dog was blocked when she just had a urinary tract infection they got me in the same day got her all squared away and they were absolutely amazing with my baby girl thank you all so very much thank you Dr Green thank you Miss Heather thank you to the tech that took care of Serena and thank you to Teresa for looking in on us

Terrible service and make you wait a long time. Don't provide enough detail, make you spin an arm and a leg and don't tell you what the problem is with the animal

Awsome place! I was having a whopper melt down after loosing my parrot of 35 years and my 14 year old dog and I thought my other dog was blocked when I called they got me in right away and helped me calm down really awsome people 10 star

I'm sorry but I thought they were AWESOME too in the beginning. I took my girl there a week before we went on vacation in May. I was supposed to get a 3 year rabies and the bordatella, distemperment blah blah blah. Well the bordatella was supposed to be an oral, but was given to her in her left hind muscle. Needless to say it turned into an abscess and literally ruptured in mid air while I was on vacation. I had to have my girl stitched 3 different times in an emergency vet, due to necrotic tissue....Dr. Green did pay my vet bill for the emergency care she received, but still admits to no fault. Still claiming that she was given an oral in her mouth....Right hand to God, nothing was given to her orally...I'm still very angry at this as she has an indent in her left hind leg. And she went though a rough three weeks for someone else's mistake.....

Called for a cost on getting flea meds for my dog and they wanted 3 times as much money for an office visit than what my current vet charges.

Westside Animal Clinic is always a great visit to see Dr. Howe (Dr. Green too) and staff. They are always in a good mood and ready to welcome you. Front staff even acknowledge you when busy on the phone. Never will you feel like a number but rather like family. I drive 35 minutes to take my fur babies there and it's well worth it for the care that they give you and your fur babies. My Morkie Mia has CKD and went for her 6 months checkup and was a bit dehydrated (due to her men-c) Dr. Howe recommended a hydration IV to help replenish Mia's electrolytes. Dr. Howe is a very caring and loving Vet. If you're looking for a caring vet and wanting to be treated like family. ?❤️? ?❤️?

This review is not only to add to the appreciation and greatness this facility posses but to address a review by a Mr DaveS. It’s sad that as an adult which I assume you are you feel the need to bash people on a goggle review! It also seems you clearly are the one brain cells should be purchased for considering you have absolutely no idea how a business such as this operates.Further more if you had let’s say at least half of one of the brain cells you recommended they purchase for the young lady at the front desk you would have been aware you are not the only animal owner in hernando county who takes their animal to these wonderful doctors! That being said you should know the doctors are extremely busy and the staff as unfortunate as it may be to you have no power over how things run! The unfortunate part Sr is that people like you judging someone who as you stated has hardware in their nose as well as suggesting the facility buy brain cells for her are exactly why this is such a cruel and nasty world! That young adult at the front desk could be your daughter, or your granddaughter, and as a man you should be as ashamed of yourself! Any who this place is amazing and now that you decided to get care for your pet someplace else hopefully it opens up a spot for mine! Get a life and stay off goggle !

I have no problem with the doctors at the facility however the staff leaves something to be desired especially the young lady at the front desk with the hardware through her nose, the owners of the facility as an employee benefit should all chip in and purchase a few brain cells for this young lady. I know of some 90-year-old people who are sharper than this young girl and they suffer from Alzheimer's. I made the decision this morning to go seek out care from another veterinarian because I can't deal with the stupidity anymore.
