I got my unit today. (Not actually). Once I get there, my unit has a lock on it. I called the company back and they told me that it’s not even supposed to be there. Then, then they suggest other units that are “vacant” that also have locks on them. Then they try units that have holes in the ceilings that clearly people crawl in and out Of through units. So during that call, they moved me to their other location and are trying to charge me more than my previous unit. They say it’s a gated and locked area. It definitely is not. People can free roam and take any units and lock them however they please. They have no type surveillance. And you can clearly tell that they don’t check on the units often. Maybe ever. I highly do not recommend the Seffner Florida units

First day renting it and I can’t even get inside the gate. Gate code doesn’t work and I’ve calle md multiple times with no answer. Left many voicemails and can’t even get inside to access my storage unit for the first day. Sad to waste my money and not even know how to get inside or my money back..there’s no office here and no answer to any of their phone numbers. If I could have help even opening this gate or getting the correct gate code it would be better.

Storage site switched owners. I was not notified. I had to search the address to find the new company to pay my bill. I was assured that the code I was originally given would work. It’s 11:30 at night when I arrive from Nebraska to pick up my car. Luckily, I had a great Uber driver and she waited to make sure I got in. My code did not work and of course there is one to answer the phone at that hour. The Uber driver took me to a hotel. This morning I hire anotherUber driver to take me back to the storage location. Gorge (an employee) was waiting for me to help me get in. My car wouldn’t start so he offered to give me a jump start. Battery has been stolen. So, I have now been sitting here for 3 hours for AAA to come put in a new battery. He can’t put in a new battery because the thieves cut the sensor cord. Now, I’m waiting for a tow to take the car to a dealership to be fixed…hopefully. So, far this storage place has cost me $370.00 in the last 24 hours and that doesn’t even include my wasted time or rent for this month.I ended up stuck at the storage unit for 8 hour ~ no restroom facilities, no water, no food.Update Saturday 10/15 repairs reported by dealership are over $500 and climbing.

I personally would advise finding a different storage location. This change from Storage Space to Public’s Choice has been handled in a way that feels unpleasantly shady. I feel sorry for who ever else is caught up in this mess.

Store Space is very reasonable and fair with prices per unit when compared to its competitors. The manager here, Amanda, is very professional and courteous. She has always been quick and efficient in our interactions. Amanda also keeps a very clean property free of riff raff and disorder. Thank you for such great customer service and hassle free experience.

Zero Stars if I could. This has been the worst experience in trying to rent a storage space I've ever had. I rented online and showed up Saturday on my move-in date only to have to call to be told the unit wasn't available (there is no onsite management). There are about 25 different numbers, half of which just say they are unable to answer, but I finally spoke to someone named Amanda from the Brandon office. She was nice and apologized and said she would escalate the matter to her manager and I would receive a call by Monday. No call. So on Wednesday I call around again, only to be told AGAIN this would be escalated to a manager and I should hear something by Friday. I would not recommend doing business with this company. They seem new in the area and don't yet seem to have their act together. I'm going with another company and getting my money back from this clown show.
