Interesting stuff but the prices are high. I suppose some stuff might be worth it if you really know what you're looking at but it's hard to know.

I finally got the chance to get to Sarasota when this shop was open! It's packed with a nice inventory of antiques and vintage items. Almost everything is clearly marked with it's price, my wife and I felt the prices were above appropriate values. Despite, my wife and I did make a purchase, and felt he was cold and lacked people skills for being in the selling business. Then to add insult to injury he added 3% for credit card purchases. When I questioned it, he pointed to one sign in the store, hardly noticable in a store filled with antiques. Wrecked my experience in his store. Obviously, other reviews felt the same way about him.

I was interested in a flower holder and asked for a discount since it didn't have the plug in the bottom. He was very rude to me. He said that he would find a plug and mark it higher. I said id buy it at the marked price and he refused. I have seen the owner in the past be very rude to the customers that ask him questions Great inventory but obviously the owner doesn't want to sell anything

exceptional store ... extraordinary things ... grateful owner. I stumbled across this shop on a recent outing in sarasota ... certainly no disappointments ... and very reasonably priced. Looking forward to returning soon.
