Took weeks to replace a fuse that costs less than $10. Even an entire new genuine Board is $150 online and takes minutes to install. They charged $400, which is the price I was told would be for an entire new board. ? what a ripoff.

I had some issues with my MacBook Pro not connecting to Wifi and the track pad not working well. Nick, the owner, got me in same day and was able to diagnose and fix it for less than half of what I would have paid at the Apple Store! He warranties his work and when my computer wouldn't connect to Wifi the next day, he got it in and found out another part was bad, so he replaced that too at no extra charge! I highly recommend these guys for anyone with a computer/iPad/phone issue. They ar great, timely, and guarantee their work!

Nick went above and beyond to repair my iphone X. Unfortunately it was beyond saving but Nick procured a new phone for me for an extraordinary deal and set it up completely for me. I know where I will be going from now on with any phone or computer issues. Totally responsive and Professional! Melissa was also very helpful and welcoming. She wisely did a back up on my phone before it was serviced. Genius move! thank you for taking such good care of me.

My experience with Nick and The Apple Core was by far the best experience I have had with PC’s. I ended up building a whole new PC with Nick and his expertise made it a breeze to choose what parts to go with and his promptness is putting everything together was even more impressive. I couldn’t recommend anywhere else if you were looking for a local shop to help with whatever your PC needs may be!

Nick is simply superb! This is my first foray into computer repair and he didn’t disappoint me. Service is very much high quality. Personal experience is even better! He’s now my go-to Mac guy, no question about it.

I will say that when they are in the office they give stellar service, however they have not been open for quite sometime and I have left numerous messages and gone by the location. NO RESPONSE.Just need to get the status of a computer that was dropped off months ago.

We came to Nick right after he opened. My husband had read in the paper about Nicks business. He was having trouble with his computer so went to Nick to have if fixed. His Macbook pro had gotten so old it was beyond fixing, so he bought an I Pad Air. Not knowing how to use it he again went to Nick for lessons. I then purchased an I Pad Air myself and took lessons. Then, I purchased a much lighter weight new Mac Book Pro from Nick for my self, since The "Air" wouldn't do all I wanted it to. Nick has helped us several times since and the latest two reasons were because I used a third party for help when my computer locked up and Nick wasn't available,the New Apple Store didn't have any open Genius Appointments and I was leaving town and needed my computer. FOLKS BEWARE - DON'T EVER DO THAT as I have had problems ever since. When I wouldn't agree, after I paid $219.00 dollars for their initial help, to pay another $350.00 for the extended warranty they started putting viruses on my computer, 18 total that Nick had to remove because they locked me out of my computer. Since I had let them into my computer they had all the information they needed to do the damage.. I then contacted my bank and they refunded my money, but then I got a call wondering why my bank was refunding the money. When I wouldn't respond I was hung up on and the next morning my computer was locked on me permanently. They had gone as far as locking my fire vault so no way, or no how could it be fixed, so they thought, without spending about $700.00 for a new operating board inside. BUT, Nick came to my rescue, thank God. He was able to bypass the file vault and restore the whole file system. Without Nicks expertise and his persistence, I would have had a "new computer, with a whole new operating system in it because I put my trust in someone I should never have. Nick has been wonderful every time we have come to him for help and guidance. He is definitely knowledgeable about the Apple products and has never steered us wrong. I can't recommend him or thank him enough and I will definitely bypass the Apple Store here at UTC whenever I need help with my computer, I Pad Air or my I Phone. Besides he is "such a nice honest guy...!!!" Thanks Nick for all your help from both of us. Dorothy and BobSEVERAL YEARS LATER 2021SEVERAL years later now and we are still using Nick at Apple Core in Sarasota. We have had them work on several things for us over these years and never once have we had a bad experience. I was there this week with my phone and computer. My phone had a security breach and it all had to be changed and updated with new passwords for everything, etc. Then my computer again for a major problems. It did need a good cleaning I admit that, but there were so many other issues going on that had to be fixed also.Once again Nick came to my rescue for the phone and the computer. Because of his knowledge and work ethics he did repairs the The Apple Store would never have touched. Apple would have sent me down the road to someone much less qualified who never would have taken the time to fix all that needed to done. They would have told me it couldn’t be fixed and tried to sell me a new one. I did leave my computer with Nick over night but when I went to pick it up it runs like a charm.Again, I can’t thank Nick and Melissa at Apple Core for all they have done to help us AND can’t recommend them highly enough. I love supporting home grown businesses and they have never once disappointed us.We love recommending Apple Core to friends and they have all come back with the same results.TRY THEM WE ASSURE YOU WILL LIKE THEM TOO…?

Terrible.The owner called me at home to say he'd be in all the next day and to come anytime to pick up my computer. Nick never showed up. Not one employee ever showed up. I went by twice and met with other customers who were also stuck waiting for him to show. He never did. Worse, he left a couple of phone numbers which I tried dozens of times and he never picked up. When I did come in the next day to get my computer, all they could say was, "Well, we're here now." (Oh, and pay the full bill immediately.) I would never have trusted my computer to someone with such little regard for basic rules of decency. The Apple Core will never get my business again and nor do they deserve yours.

My computer randomly decided not to turn on. Charged it overnight, still nothing. Took it to the apple store first, and was told that my logic board shorted and I’d have to replace the board and lose all my data. I took my MacBook to the apple core to get a second opinion. Loved the family feel of the business from the start. Very kind people and I could tell they really cared about getting to the bottom of the issue. I got a phone call 3 days later and they happily told me that they actually fixed the original board and managed to save all my data! My MacBook went from being a paper weight, to being as good as new! It was a miracle!!!! Super thankful for everyone involved. I would highly recommend these guys for ALL your apple care needs!
