Beautiful selection of interesting gifts handmade by artists from other countries. Great knowledgeable and super friendly owner. Highly recommend visiting, you will come out with a smile knowing you helped someone in dire need and bring home a very unique gift.

I had an encounter with the owner today and she was very disrespectful , outright rude the way she spoke to me and she should not be treating potential customers that way or anyone else . As an out of town visitor who frequently visits Sarasota , just lost a potential customer .
I am responding to you from your comment . I would like to point out to you that when my car door opened and my foot hit the ground you rudely told me I couldn’t park there and I had to move my car. If you were so concern about me getting a ticket or my car towed you would have shown concern and kindness and had kind words , which you did not ! I proceeded to help my friend park her car like you said , then I removed my car to find a parking place. BUT , the main reason I was parking there briefly (no other parking spots around ), for your information was not to help my friend park her car(even though she asked me to guide her while she backing into the only empty parking spot) but to help her load a heavy piece of furniture in her car she purchased and was picking up . So next time when someone pulls into the space which isn’t even part of your establishment , but the churches , mind your own business or be nice . I’m sure the minister who was parked there would have had no problem that I was helping my friend in her time of need . Like I expressed to you , you lost two potential customers . Whether you are standing inside or outside in front of your establishment , how you treat people is a reflection on you and your business . Take care

The Service was outstanding. I was thrilled to learn that my purchase allowed the designer of my dress to continue her work and feed her family of 4 for 4 weeks. The selection in the store was lovely, very varied and the value seemed just right. This store was a great find, doing great world work and I highly recommend checking it out.

This store has beautiful items made by people from all over the world. It is a fair trade establishment. The staff were lovely and very informative. We learned a lot and bought some lovely things.

I’m so disappointed. I got there at 4:50 and wasn’t allowed in. I called the day before to check if they had the item I needed and they confirmed it was there. I left work early to barely make it on time but I knew I’d be quick so I was happy to make it before 5. As I walked up the associate was at the door and said they’re closing soon and didn’t continue to open the door for me or let me in. I said “oh okay great I’ll be fast” and she said “well no I close in 2”. I looked at my watch and saw it was 4:50. I told her “oh, that’s weird I have 10 til. So I can’t come in? I have to come tomorrow?” and she nods and starts to close the door. My phone, watch and car all had the same correct time. I know I was cutting it close, but in all my years working in retail I’ve never denied service before my closing time. I’m so sad because I was so excited to get that special gift for someone. I would have been in and out in 3-4 mins. Gave 3 stars because I like their mission and concept, and although I won’t be shopping there, other reviews say you can find nice things - just be sure to go right when they open.
