Love this shop! I got kid’s plates and bowls, really cute kitchen items, and I couldn’t resist a fun, local T-shirt. So glad I discovered this shop on my trip. It’s in a cute area too. The gal that was by the front when I walked in was extra sweet to watch my little one in my large stroller so I could shop for a few. So kind of her!

Just a note to the owner- it is obvious you really incentivize your employees to catch shoplifters. I’d love to look at the things in your store, but I don’t enjoy feeling like I always have someone following me around not giving me a foot of space. I found it interesting that many other reviews say the same thing. Very unclassy experience.

Lovely shop with lovely people. Our daughters enjoyed picking out their own gifts. The staff was awesome! We'll definitely be back the next time we travel to Seaside.

DO NOT ENTER IF YOU HAVE CHILDREN !!!! Immediately were followed around by an employee. I left because he was making me uncomfortable. Mom and sister stayed. The second my 6 yo nephew touched something, they got chewed out. I will NEVER again enter this establishment or any other that treats children like that. We spent the rest of the day happily spending our money elsewhere!

I have never been to a store that makes me feel so happy! I met the owner and he is a gem and gave plenty credit to his wife for her amazing taste also. Every single piece they have in their store is beautiful and fun!

Wowowowowow I wish I could live inside the Art of Simple! This store in the heart of Seaside, Florida offers some of the cutest home wares I've ever seen. I loved looking through the incredibly well curated shelves, dreaming how they would spruce up my home. From whiskey glasses featuring a skull and the saying "pick your poison" to hemp sewn flasks, there was something for anyone to obsess over. I never leave home without a koozie. And the Art of Simple offered a boatload of hilarious koozies. It was hard to choose a momento. There were also a ton of functional items to select. We found a set of gold plated zesters. They were the perfect size to use when zesting a lime or lemon. Plus we had never seen a zester that didn't have holes in it. The store is definitely geared toward Seaside homeowners. Which means bring your credit card because the prices slant high.

This is the best shop hands down for all things pretty, practical, and perfectly endearing. I couldn’t stop looking from one corner to another and making a list of everything I “had to have.” The staff and owner were so friendly and engaging and I honestly didn’t want to leave because I was afraid I would miss something. I can’t wait to come back!Thank you “The Art of Simple” for being the perfect ray of sunshine on my vacation!

My wife and I love to shop local and could not stop oohing and aahing over all of the unique pieces at The Art of Simple. From home goods and decor to beauty products, there is a wide selection of items at varying price points. We purchased a beautiful vase, deliciously smelling candle and large decorative pillow that will go perfectly at our new condo on the lake. I’m shocked at the negative reviews regarding the staff. Our experience was the exact antithesis both times my wife and I shopped here. We purchased the vase before going to dinner and the staff was kind enough to offer shipping or hold it so that we could pick it up the next day when we were headed home. We never felt like the staff was hovering over us. They were extremely friendly and helpful throughout both shopping experiences. We are excited to have the ability to purchase items online and will definitely come back on our next vacation!
