La is my GO TO for my braids, locs, installs- she is the best. You won't regret choosing her to do your braids she provides and EXCELLENT experience, the studio is tidy, she is super efficient, and I love being the only one in the studio without having other people waiting- she keeps herself super organized. I always enjoy my appointments with Lala. She is what you call real folk with genuine vibes. It shows in her work. I make my appts on booksy where each service is detailed unlike some other hair salons. She is an on time person who respects her client's time. I love that about her. Happy to have a stylist who is truly professional, promotes healthy hair, and a pleasure to be around.

Can I rate a minus zero??? I called to make an appointment to get my new wig cut and styled. I was given a 2:00 time and was asked to text my name and appt. time to the number I called. Cool. I figured she was busy and couldn't write. I even sent a picture. I arrived at the address in her ad to find what appeared to be a corporate office building that was locked! I called stating I was at the address for my appt. I was asked where I was and who gave me the address. Seriously??? I was instructed to drive around the building and into the garage under the building. I was instructed to park in a space marked 300 then call her to send the elevator. More than 30 minutes and more than 15 calls later, I am sitting in my car in the garage writing this negative review!!! I should have read the other reviews before wasting my time! This is just why I don't patronize our salons! This is unacceptable on many levels! There is no excuse that can be offered! Bonnie G. Belford Tampa, FL

sewn in weave and it was just sewn in and not styled for the $50 sew in and was a not washed or anything, $50 sew in without and thing else is crazy. tracks were sewn in in opposite directions making hair stick out opposition pattern layout. horrible service and no one thought it was a nice look.

She twisted my dreds so tight they didn’t look as thick as they did and her pattern of my style was as if she didn’t know what she was doing or was a rookie. Would suggest for dred retwist.

When I first moved to Florida and was looking for a hair stylist I found Lashawnda on social media. Just from her postings I just knew I had to give her a try. Soon as I walked in her salon I just knew I was at home. Sitting in her chair she made me felt so beautiful an I could just be myself an felt like I known her a lifetime. And going on 5 years she is the best and a wonderful kind hearted genuine person! She will make sure she get you in and is the most inspirational an motivational person I ever met!! I love you girl!!!

LaShonda is kind, on time, and has a lot of knowledge. I was not impressed with my wig style. Before LaShonda left, she gave me a wrap to lay my edges down and encouraged me to wear it for a bit. She left. alone in the bathroom, I removed the black wig wrap (pictures) and I was very disappointed. The wig did not match my hair line. The wig also looked fake in the part and was very cheap looking at the part. I never had a wig before and took a risk getting one. I have a unique "bell" shaped hair line and the way she laid my wig looked like I had a square forehead. I got my hair done yesterday (at home service) but already removed the wig and took off the cap. I had hair and adhesive all over my forehead and face. To be fair, I am not a wig wearer and I didn't like how fake it looked. I didn't feel the wig enhanced my natural beauty and the service was $250 ( I got to keep the wig .... ) but I will never get a wig again. I did learn, ALWAYS CHECK YOUR FRONT/edges before the stylist leaves, maybe she could have redone the entire thing, I'll never know because by the time I realized I hated my hair it was a few hours after she left.

I contacted Nicole at the last minute for a serious hair issue she booked me an appointment for the next day. House of Mad Nail & Spa is very calm, peaceful,relaxing and everyone is very professional. I recommend House of Mad for all services.

My service was a great experience my hair was style even better then I wanted and I was not expecting that. Very professional, friendly and good communication. My point was last minute all my questions was answered and I was in and day. The experience really turned my day around.
