I purchased 2, quarter bags of Valencia oranges to bring back to Rochester ny.they were kept in a cool dry place.after one week almost half of each bag was starting to spoil.i had no problems with the 2 quarter bags of red grapefruits! This is the second time this has happened 2 yrs in a row.the oranges were dark in color and the skins were tough almost dry in nature, old!

Loved being able to visit an orange grove. It was past time for picking, but wonderful samples and lovely gift shop. You can order and ship too!

Took my kids here over the weekend to pick some grapefruits, and they had a great time. The grapefruits and the tangerines from here are so sweet. Will definitely be back soon ??

The staff at Dooley Grove is always helpful, and their service has been great. Their fruit is top quality, and when we had fruit damaged in transit, they replaced it promptly without charge. We have ordered from them for about 10 years.

I really wanted to like this place but customer service is really bad, not everyone but some of the women, especially at check out, were very rude and demeaning. I’d rather spend my money on places that respect the customers.

Great farm to go orange and grape fruit picking at. There are plenty of trees. There is also a clean bathroom on the side and lmenty of parking. When you enter you'll see oranges, grape fruits, juice, chocolate, gum, etc. They have a lot of products to buy if you're in a hurry, or don't want to do the picking yourself.Keep in mind, this is a farm. This isn't a large chain where the orange is genetically modified to be perfect. Therefore, the orange is more natural. It'll taste a bit different, and feel different too. The sheet that covers the orange pieces is a bit thicker, the seeds are larger too. Grape fruit isn't only sweet, but sour too. None of this is a negative, it's just how the fruit is.While we did enjoy the picking, the customer service of the staff was not excellent. They did give light instructions as we went picking, specifically indicating which trees to go to and which oranges/grape fruits to pick. As we picked, one of the blossoms got stuck and pulled. The staff got upset and instead of asking if anyone told us that it shouldn't be done, or if it was accidental, or to pay for an extra orange, or use it as an opportunity to educate, they just got upset that it happened. If you look through the reviews, you can see similar woes in the responses to customers. These are opportunities to fix issues, realign assumptions, and educate. Not an opportunity to dig deeper into worse customer service. Some feedback to the staff: We're in YOUR farm. Under YOUR guidance. We, the customers, aren't farmers, nor tree experts, nor do we have previous experiences in Orange picking. We don't know what we're doing, and it's up to you to educate and guide us through this experience. Your staff did not give the necessary information to educate us on the blossoms, and that's on you.Seek to understand what happened and do better at educating customers on the trees. This is part of the responsibility of opening up a farm for picking.

Visited Dooley Groves with my family. Enjoyed the various citrus samples they shared with us. We bought several bags of various citrus and have been enjoying these juicy treats the past few days. They have lots of Florida souvenir items for sale. Many of these items I remember seeing in souvenir shops while on vacation as a kid. Brought back some great memories.

Didn't find many Honeybells to pick. They were terrible and full of seeds. Through them out when we got home. They use to check them after picking and replace them. Spent $50.00 there. Third strike, going NO more. Oh, was bitten up with mosquitos!!

Everyone was friendly and informative. The fruits we tasted were delicious. I did buy some chocolate that was not good at all, and I'm not even sure if I should give it away. Maybe I'll give it to someone at work. The orange juice we bought was thirst quenching and definitely fresh.
