Update: 9/16/24- of course I had to go back to the post office today and I got the best lady at the counter. She was Latina and she had the biggest smile and was so helpful! I hope I see her again on my next visit! See, it’s all about the positive personality in customer service. The other woman is just miserable. Changing my star count for the lady today.
Oh boy. I hate doing bad reviews. I love doing good reviews. However, The woman at the front desk at the Postal Service today at 1:02 PM. She was standing at the right of the service desk was extremely rude and very nasty and it was unprovoked. I wish I would’ve noticed her name so that I could alert future customers and management. I’m not sure what’s going on at this location, but it needs to be addressed. This location has a 2.2 star rating and it’s sad because it’s beautiful location. Let’s have good customer service please.

I can’t get over all of these negative reviews. I have been going to this location for 12 years. I used to make shirts, so I have shipped out thousands of packages. Any time I receive help from a clerk, they are friendly, patient and helpful. I went in today around 10:30. I was assisted by a gentleman with a southern accent. He’s been there a while. I’m bad with names but the receipt said Clerk 4. I was in and out within 10 min tops. I had to send a package with insurance and was inquiring what the most cost effective way would be. He was kind and efficient.
I guess people only think to leave a review when they’ve had a bad experience, which is unfortunate.
I always treat people with respect. Maybe some of the people that left reviews about the employees being rude, should look at their own behavior going in. ?♀️ Working with the public is difficult sometimes. You never know what is going on in someone’s life. Be kind.

Its unusual to write bad reviews. This type of unprofessional and racist behavior at the local post office in Riverview has become too unprofessional to deal with. This lady (Diane) who claimed to be the manager at the Riverview post was very arrogant and disrespectful and racist, she has no customer service skills. She (Diane) opened the window and said we're not going to look for your package not untill Friday which means 4days later , while my package was right behind her after giving her my PO Box she turned pickup the package and handed to me because I insisted. The Post office employees make seems like they are not working nor getting paid not interested in fulfilling their job. The government has to provide more trainings to these people or replace them to better interested employees who wants to work.

If I could give a “0” star I would. My return said to go to the post office and they would be able to print off the return label. I was already prepared with my own tape from my last visit where I was forced to buy my own tape for my box. This time they turned me away and sent me to another business to print off my mailing label so that I could then return back to this crazy place to send the package from here. This is how businesses lose customers! I am very sure there is a printer in this building. I have never had a good experience here! And the rudeness is always done with a smile on her face!

Worst post office I ever dealt with, Unprofessional workers and liars. Especially the person in charge of changing the mail locks, I've been waiting for more than a week and when they came, they changed the wrong box, I called them back and it suppose to be done yesterday and never came, I never expected the a federal agency will not take there job seriously.

Shonda is very confrontational. I walked up to the window greeting her and she cut me off with “what can I help you with!!!” She then put the wrong address I. The computer for my care package. When I pointed it out she was irked. She needs to sort mail and not be in contact with people. I hate writing such a review but it’s true. If you don’t like your job, quit.

I am writing to express my disappointment with the unprofessional behavior of one of your postal office workers during a recent visit. On 4/8/24, I visited the Boyette Post Office to retrieve mail that had not been picked up due to personal circumstances.Instead of receiving assistance, I was scolded by the postal worker. This conduct was unacceptable and left me feeling disrespected.Furthermore, I'd like to bring to your attention that our community mailboxes are often left open or misdelivered, which is concerning for the security of our mail.I kindly request that you address these issues promptly and ensure that all staff uphold professionalism in their interactions with customers and that mail delivery is accurate and secure.

Never have I had such awful USPS service in my life than what I have experienced from this inept branch. This past year has been especially awful. Both letters (cards from family and bills from senders such as TECO and Spectrum) and packages have been wrongly returned to senders. The post office has told the senders either: 1. I do not live at my address (I've lived at my address for almost a decade!) or 2. That the mail had an "incomplete address" when in fact the address was 100% correct.Just this past week a friend, who is on a fixed income, lost out on a great deal of money sending me a package that was incorrectly returned by this branch. I went to the branch, in person, to try to pick up the package after I saw on the tracking website that it was not delivered by the time and date promised due to an "incomplete address." My friend sent me a picture of the package and the address was NOT incomplete. I was told by the woman at the branch that the package would be intercepted when the mail person returned from their route that day and I could pick it up the next day. I was promised a phone call the next day to confirm they had the package. Instead, 2 days later, I get a voicemail stating they returned the package to the sender.I have complained multiple times but nothing changes. This is the most pathetic, incompetent group of postal workers I could ever dream up.
