He is very patient and gentle with her and explains everything to assure you're on the same page. The staff is amazing, they are very loving with Bean and recognize her the moment we walk into the door. Heron Lakes Animal Hospital treats the animals the way they would there own fur baby. The day I found Bean, at only 4 weeks old, they checked her out to make sure she was okay and no injuries and then explained to me how to care for her. I haven't had a kitty before Bean, I'm so thankful they helped me and told me everything I needed to know to start off being Beans mom. I first chose this practice based on location from my home and of course, the reviews. I realize that reviews are not always reliable, however, the reviews for Compassionate Care are thoughtful with good context, and 4.8 across the board which is why I chose to make an appointment.Compassionate Care's service from my inital call to make the appointment to my first visit was excellent. This is a small, very comfortable and inviting practice. The woman at the front desk is very kind and accommodating. The technician, Stefan, was very kind, thorough, and efficient. Dr. Hutson is fantastic. She has a wonderful personality, excellent pet-side manner, and my sweet, three-legged cat, loved her. The doctor was thorough in her examination. Although my visit was a yearly, wellness check and to obtain prescriptions for his food, Dr. Hutson's approach is wellness, not outrageous testing and unneccesary bloodwork and medicine. I appreciated her honest assessment of my cat's needs.Compassionate Care is very reasonable and customary in their fees, which is a huge plus. They are very organized from start to finish. Special note -- I recieved a sweet phone call from the practice the next business day just to see how my cat was doing. “Dr. Bergeron and Tiffany are everything and more than we could have asked for. My only regret is that we wish we would have found them sooner. We unfortunately were going to Heroes 8 years until I had an emergency. My dog was very sick, they told me to come in and turned me away. A good friend told us about Park Vet Hospital. Unfortunately they diagnosed our girl Zoey with Lymphoma that spread throughout her abdominal wall. We of course broke down. She's our daughter, not a pet. She was in so much pain until they put her on steroids and pain killers. We know Zoey's time is limited but today, Zoey was happy, smiling, with very little pain. At least we know we have some time until she lets us know it's time to move onThey were so loving, empathetic, caring and very thorough and educated. Working in the medical field, this really means the world to me. They treated us as I treat my patients. At least we know we have some time until she lets us know it's time to move on. This would have never happened without Dr. Bergeron and Tiffany. I love them for what they have done for Zoey, my husband Brian, and myself. I will recommend them to everyone I know that has a pet or plans on getting one. We will continue to visit them and consider them friends. I would never go to another vet ever again.
