Horrible company, they take your deposit with no intention of moving you! Poor communication! Threatening and unprofessional! Please do not use this company.

lied when I contracted with them. they said they moved people themselves and did not contract out. they contracted to arrow moving. when the moving day came arrow did not show up and value van was useless to help. they gave me the number to call arrow. arrow was useless and tripled the cost that value van quoted.

I regret that I have to give even 1 star. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. They called to cancel the move the night before and offered a refund. I did receive a check a week later that BOUNCED. After countless phone calls and excuses, and many months later, I still have not received my deposit. Horrible horrible business.

Value van lines is a very untrustworthy company nobody answers with details on the status of where tgey are and how long it takes. I risk losing my job just to be there to let them in. Crew was late massy sloppy and unprofessional. If i could rate zero stars i would. The director and dispatch were very rude and very untfust. The main crew consisted of two men moving all the furniture truck was ratty looking and very dirty. One man seemed consistent about working getting the job done. Other didn't care. Prices are unbelievable and they tried to charge extra . i Will. Not be booking this company again. It's rude selfish highway robbery. The main truck driver has a bad attitude and should be in jail. All in all out of 10 being the highest quality i give this company a .5 not even a lot of effort do not book with this company.

My experience with Value Van Lines started on the right foot and ended to our satisfaction. We had a few speed bumps on the way mainly because of weather conditions and lack of assistance from the building manager but thanks to the delivery crew that were quick and efficient we were able to complete the move despite all difficulties.

This is by FAR the best moving company in South Florida! Value Van Lines made my move from Florida back to New Jersey quick and easy. The rates were affordable and they delivered on every single promise. I recommend this moving service to anyone looking for a reputable company that will truly handle your most cherished belongings with care. Long distance relocation can be stressful but with their help, moving all of my things was one less worry on my mind. The best part is that there is no hidden fees, which is what I've been told is often the case (hidden fees) in the moving industry. I cant thank these guys enough, they went above and beyond.

This is probably one of the worst experiences I ever had. They contacted me on November for my feb move and I had done some initial payment.. On feb 1st they collected my package from Cincinnati and it's already February 12th and there is no update. When I call them to check on the status, all they say is they will get back to me once they have a clear information... it's been already 12 days and I have no idea when they are going to deliver my stuff.. At least they should have given me some alerts/notice on why it is really taking long.. Initially before the payment they mentioned it will hardly take 2-5 business days even though they say 2-14 days.. The worst experience I ever had...

This shameless outfit! I was looking to have my 82 year old mom moved. They solicited me from a web search I had done. Dean said he could get it done for around $2500. Hah!! They broke the contract by changing her pickup date by 3 days, then they charged her $2000 more than the actual contract stated, once all was said and done!! Tasha, the supposed customer service rep, promised to call regarding the money they charged for wrapping some items at pickup, which was a service not asked for. They charged my mom $990 to wrap up items that needed no wrapping!!! We never heard from Tasha, as promised. When I called her back, she hadn't even bothered looking into it!! Is that what you call Customer Service, TASHA?????

the worst moving company and very fraudulant. if i could give them a zero i would. they quoted me a price and i paid the deposit. 2 days before our move they called and said that i was under quoted and needed to pay an additional $500 or cancel my move and get a refund. their contract specifically stated that there will be no increases to the rate unless we had more furniture than what we inventoried. they did not uphold that agreement so i chose to cancel my move. however they refused to issue me a refund. this was back in july and i still haven't received my refund. they said they would not give me a refund because the contract stated that you can not leave a negatve review so they told me to take my review down. i took my review down and they still did not give me a refund of my $600 deposit. they are crooks and deserve no business.

Jay, the rep I spoke with multiple times, earned my trust so I signed a contract. During our discussion of the arrangements (they were picking up family heirloom pieces from out of state) I asked if I could pay the second payment of three required at the time of pickup with my credit card and was told I could. At pick up the drivers asked for the second portion in cash which my family, nor I, was prepared for. They said they cannot accept a credit card for the remaining portion(s) and would need the balance (second and third payments) in cash at delivery. I left messages, emails, and texts with the rep and the scheduling coordinator (Jerry), neither responded. I later received a call from the driving company and asked them about the balance. I was told the rest had to be with cash or money order. If I wanted to pay with my card I would need to have a 4-page application completed and notarized for them to accept it which is ridiculous. The customer service manager was no help. I bank out of state and had to go through loop holes to get the balance in cash. NEVER AGAIN. Don't waste your time.

PLEASE RUN. All the good reviews they wrote them. Please don't make the mistake I did!!! Please run. They lie about everything. They will give you a great price and when the movers arrived I had to pay 300 dollars more. They charge for everything. They told me I would get my good within two weeks and it's a month and everyday they tell me the movers are going to arrive the weekend and they never showed up or called. U lost my job just for calling out and pregnant sleeping on the floor. When I call they don't answer or will tell me they can't help me I have to wait. They are brokers who give other companies the contact and don't care after they collect your money. PLEASE PLEASE RUN. They are thieves. Please check all reviews on different websites and u will see. Still waiting on my furnitures. Run

Moved a 3 bedroom house from Florida to Ohio. Phil helped me through the entire moving process. Price was fair, staff was great and my stuff came intact and on time. I don't know what else you might want from a moving company, so it was good.

My move with Value Van Lines was exceptional! I could not be more pleased with my experience. Reading the reviews before I decided to use them, I was a bit skeptical. However, due to the talks I had with Phil, I trusted my gut and went with Value. The movers showed up on time & did a great job. On top of that, Value Van Lines kept in constant communication with me and answered every question I had. Last, but not least, the movers delivered my belongings in a timely manner. l would recommend Value Van Lines to anyone who has an upcoming move

I only gave them 1 star because zero wasn't possible. Worst company I've ever come across. They underquoted me so that I would give them a deposit, then when they actually came to move me, the price almost doubled. I had zero success getting in contact with anyone to discuss this. After you give them a deposit, they disappear. They also underquoted me on storage, telling me it was $150/month and now it's $600/month. Whatever you do, don't ever use this company. Their only redeeming quality is that the actual movers were nice.
