U make me dread going to the vet bc u make me feel like I'm a bad dog owner I love my 14 yr old 91 lbs dog and I treat him right. Don't make the customers dread going to u worse then their dogs do. Maybe tell them what they are doing wrong followed by maybe something that they are doing right. I shouldn't leave there every time feeling like I shouldn't be a dog owner.

My mom has been going to Dr. Hugh’s for over 25 years. Now that I’m an adult I also go to him. HE IS ABSOLUTELY THE BEST VET. Protect Dr.Hughs at all cost. He is an absolute gem. My Pittie also loves Dr.Hughs!

Dr. hughes saved my boys life!!!
He was literally dying, and I thought I was bringing him in to be told that I would have to put him down. But Dr. Hughes has been treating him for a few months now, and he's 100% turned around. He's eating again, gaining his weight back, has energy, and is living his best life. Thank you so much for saving Lokis life. I can not thank you enough.

I can’t speak highly enough about my experience today. My cat Lily is 10, almost 11 years old and doesn’t have a good track record with the vet. Today was my first time at Hughes animal clinic and I don’t think I will take my cat anywhere else again. The whole staff deeply cares about animals and the doctor was sharing how this is a fear free clinic and he has literally taken classes to help learn this method so the animals aren’t scared. My cats last trip to our prior vet, she was terrified. She had peed all over herself. She was hissing, biting, and scratching, and our prior vet just didn’t really seem to care that she was so uncomfortable and scared and was being a bit rough with her. I had given her some gabapentin before coming in today due to Dr. Hughes recommendation. Lily was so good with how she handled everything and the staff knew she didn’t handle the vet good in the past so, they gave her a warm towel with cat pheromones to keep her calm. While we were waiting to pay and she was back in her carrier, they put some cotton balls soaked in the pheromones in her carrier so she wasn’t uncomfortable at any point. I feel so relieved to know I finally found somewhere that cares deeply about the animals that come in!! Lily and I couldn’t be more grateful!❤️

One star is still too good for this vet. He doesn't know what he's doing. what a waste of an education. Had a friend bring their dog with abdominal pain and he didn't do radiographs because the dog was in pain. A month later, the dog still in pain, he finally did rads and diagnosed a bladder mass. Rather than refer to a specialist , he told the owner it was inoperable and to euthanize the dog. What a shame!

The best veterinary office! I’ve been coming to Dr. Hughes for over 10 years. His office takes care of our 3 dogs and cat. They are always responsive, helpful and give the best care to our animals.
