Several years back i did pulmonary therapy at pbgmc facility and was very please, they did not have very much in equipment and once they got me set up on program i was were pretty much on my own, they did come by and monitor my vitals and gave me some useful advice so overall i was very please with the results, it was not only therapy it was enjoyable. This is only my 2nd cadiac theroay visit and i am still being evaluated. I take a whicl because i am not only a cadiac pacient i also have copd. My current nurse is Machiel, i think she is outstanding and i believe she honestly cares about my health. Back in Nov a cardiac nurse talked to me in the hospital when i had 2 steins put in, sure glad she did. I will write another review in a few weeks and i am sure it too will be a positive 5 star. I feel as if the entire staff cares about my well being. Every nurse at the facility i assume has to pass a personality test, they are like friends. I know i am enjoying their medical treatment too much. What i am doing there cannot be accomplished on my own at the gym. These people know just what to do and know what not to do, thanks to all, .I have to wear a monitor the entire time i am there.I look forward to the remainder of the program. BTW: my hospital stay was also excellent and was almost enjoyable but not to the exstream.. Thier hospital food was excellent. I was not thrilled with their emergency room, seem to be a lack of communication, but they never did anything wrong. I was just in foul mood when i got there, so the problem was most likely me, not them. I have now been in cardiac rehab at pbg hospital outpatient rehab for about a month. and i am very please with my progress, the staff has been outstandind, always very helpfull. I feel that i am gaining strength because phycicaly things at home are getting easier. I still have a ways to go before my cariac therapy ends. I am so PLEASAE EWITH MY PROGRESS THAT I ASK MY Pomologist IF I COULD DO MY PUMANARY THERIPY THERE. BETWEEN THE STIENS AND THE THERAPY I AM FEELING MUCH BETTER THAN I HAVE IN YEARS, Normally i am not on e to enjoy medical care. this therapy has actiually been enjoyable I feel like i am being treated by my friends and not just by a medical staff, these nurses really care about the people they are caring for and to me that is fantastic. This therapy is much more effective and enjoyable than i ever expected. Thank very much to all the nurses and the doctor at this facility. I may live a little longer now because of the staff. and thier cardiac progrqam. I am thankful to dr Diaz and dr kessel who sent me in for the test that found the artery blockage, that I din't know i had. I just thought i was getting old and fat. Because of all these people I will get to enjoy my family for a while longer. That's it. BRTW: DR Diaz us highway 11 npb and DR kessel burns rd pbg .

I’m so disappointed and frustrated with the nurses and the aides at this hospital. The lack of communication and care of the patients is unsatisfactory. They don’t return phone calls and are too busy to bring pain meds in a timely manner. My dad had no ice water and the next day when I came the same 2 cups with the warm water was still there. This hospital is so unprofessional !!

I left the emergency room in tears after feeling very invalidated about my symptoms. The emergency room sent me home With severe symptoms And no diagnosis. They also gave me incorrect aftercare, Did not take my medication or get history before, Gave me a medication that says to not take with my symptoms, And failed to treat me correctly. I trusted my gut and knew I needed to be seen somewhere else, so I went to Jupiter Medical Center where I received great care And accurate care. I got a call from the Department of Health this week telling me About a bacterial infection that can be pretty severe that I have. Palm Beach Gardens Medical Center sent me home with no diagnosis and incorrect aftercare when I had STEC EColi. This kind of E. coli is very dangerous And contagious. The nurse Told me “ The emergency room is for urgent matters in emergencies, You should be at G.I” :( I felt so validated and hurt. Since finding out my diagnosis, What I experienced is malpractice. I have reached out to the hospital and will Continue to speak up about malpractice. The department of health in Palm Beach County is horrified that they sent me home With this contagious disease With no guidance or help or diagnosis. Thank goodness for Jupiter, Medical Center, who took good care of me, and was able to give me a stool test that showed STEC EColi. This is my third bad experience here and worst. I will not be coming back.

This hospital is awful. No attention to the patient. My uncle is diabetic and we took him to the ER and the attention took almost 3 hours. No one gave him any medicine or took care of his health. Never visit here again

This place is absolutely awful. I will never return. Some nurses I had were great but overall they are somewhat rude and not helpful. I felt like I was in jail instead of a hospital. Too bad as they are very convenient for me. But never again. Trust me and just stay away. They were much better years ago. Too bad they didn't keep it up. Just an awful place when you are sick.

I am traveling from out of state and have multiple complicated medical issues. I was given a prescription via telemedicine from my Dr. in PA on Friday for a suspected muscle injury. Today I woke up with more pain and called my insurance company to see if I had treatment options available out of network. They recommended PBGHN ER. Upon arrival they quickly checked me in an assigned a room. I realized I wasn't a high acuity ER case and was prepared for waiting. Dr. Cabrera quickly saw me and ordered tests and scans. I appreciate that my issue was addressed without excess and fanfare. Very to the point and extremely thorough. Fortunately the worst case scenario was ruled out and I was t discharged promptly , professionally and with a good plan of care until I can get home and see my specialist if I still have issues. I am beyond appreciative of the nurses and CT team. They were friendly and compassionate. At no time did I feel as if I was being a drain on the ER resources. I will not hesitate to recommend this ER to the neighbors or my family who have a home 2 miles away.

This ED over the past year has rapidly declined in cleanliness & care . The rooms are filthy & a breeding ground for all sorts of diseases . The doctors do not come & talk with you before the nurse starts doing all sorts of things . The patient is not involved in any way of making decisions for your care or even giving consent . The staff Eat & laugh in the center of the ED while patients in need of care or to have the discharge papers that are sitting on the counter printed in the folder already brought to you I would not bring a sick cockroach to this disgrace of a medical facility. Please do better & also please treat ALL people with respect. Unfortunately the staff lack empathy & don’t want to help chronically Ill patients with a very bad multiple day migraine or GI flare up instead they will tell you to your face you do not need to be here take your meds at home . As if the patient has not already done that with no relief & has had it recommended to go to the closets ER by a primary care physician. .

I was a patient this week at palm beach gardens medical center. I came in through the Er and they diagnosed what was wrong with me quickly. The next thing I knew I was on my way to OR. The surgical team along with Dr. Cohen were amazing. They made me feel comfortable and not scared of going into surgery. the PACU nurses were compassionate and took such good care of me. The 2 west staff were top notch. Night shift Anne RN , Brenda PCT, Joanne PCT were unbelievable. They took excellent care of me. Made me feel like family. I want to thank everyone for the excellent care I received.

My adoptive mother has been a patient there since last Wednesday for a hip replacement... the surgical team was fantastic and everything went smooth. Unfortunately there have been some post op complications. Mostly nausea and low blood pressure. Both things that are very manageable in normal circumstances however not in my mothers case. The nursing staff has no bedside manor, the communication between staff(nurses, tech, who ever is on call) is horrendous and to ask for anything is made to feel like a burden. My mother is one of the toughest humans on the planet so for her to say she is in PAIN and can't keep food down is something to be taken seriously but the staff and once nurse in particular actually took the stance she is faking and forcing herself to throw up! Medications have been late HOURS on more then once occasion and the staff wonders why she's in pain. I'm not Nostradamus but I can predict that someone days out of major surgery not getting their nausea and pain medication on schedule would be nauseous and in pain. When you ask to speak to someone in charge you get the run around and it seems they are most concerned with the hospital administration seeing this negative review then addressing my mothers health. I'm fully aware this email will be met with the generic response as all negative reviews I've read and not taken seriously but I expect no less considering the generic substandard level of care. My only hope is those considering using this hospital read this and take their business somewhere else cause let it never be forgotten that hospitals are a business! My sister posted a review about this situation and as stated the concern was still not my mothers care but the negative review effecting the hospital. I'll be posting this on as many review boards as possible until my mothers level of care is to the standard she deserves

I've only had to go to the ER about 5x my entire life. This crew is the best I've ever been to, period. Got me in quickly, treated me with kindness and respect, & referred me to an amazing Ortho doc before the hour was over. Maybe this isn't everyone's experience, maybe I got lucky that day, but, at any rate, everyone here from the Security Officer to the Admin tech to the nurses and the ED doc were just really cool and attentive. They went out of their way to be both polite and professional. I honestly hope I never have to go back, but if I do, I would trust these people ? with my life.

I Come here because I’m in so much pain where I can’t walk properly and I’ve been waiting for 30 minutes not one pain killer I’m just sitting here waitingin the waiting room. What’s the point of coming to the ER if I’m not being taking care of right away ?

Please, never make the mistake of going to Gardens Hospital. Quality of staff is extremely poor and unprofessional, and this was BEFORE Covid.

Nobody wants to go to the ER. But if you have to go, this is a good one to go to. The staff are the kindest friendliest most professional I've ever encountered. Trust me as a professional horse trainer, exhibitor & adrenaline junkie I've had more than my fair share of ambulance rides and been air lifted twice. Frankly I don't care if another report says there is a little stain on the ceiling ( that can happen in an Emergency Room!) I care that the team know their stuff and keep you alive! I was treated with respect compassion and dignity and they were slammed! The process from triage to checkout went smoothly. I highly recommend them. I've had not so lovely experiences at other hospitals in WPB where even the patients were intimidating. Worth the extra five mile drive! BONUS: The ER patient parking is convenient and shaded.
