This place is terrible!
I’m currently expecting my first child and I went in because I’ve been dealing with this cough and shortness of breath, only to be told that there is nothing that they could to help . Nurse RH or whatever is name is came in with random swabs . I told him that I did not have the flu, Covid or strep and that I have been dealing with the cough with awhile . And this morning it got worse . The doctor and the nurse male totally dismissed . The doctor Rurely said to me “ what do you want me to do for you ? There’s nothing wrong with you and there’s nothing else I can do for you. Fast forward, he came back with a random diagnosis… bronchitis. The doctor and the nurse also forced me to sit through registration and paper work while I was having difficulty breathing and worrying about my child . The truth is this hospital does care about their patient, they have no compassion and they only want to make money . My discharge paper said I was treated for bronchitis ! When I literally had to keep asking to be seen . Dr Tulsiak ( or whatever his name was ) and nurse RH failed to provide care . Nurse RH acted like I was contagious. As soon as I finished feeling him about my symptoms, he slapped a mask on his face and handed me a mask . Then tried to play it off by making light conversation as he took my blood pressure . I’ve never been treated so horribly by a doctor and his staff . I had to go to a different ER just to get the care that I needed.

Went in for severe degenrative disc disorder. Pain meds and therapy normally help but had a flare up. Doc used steroid and muscle relaxer!! Which does nothing in the immediate pain.
Nurses were nice but doctor refused a shot of pain medication (not even a script was asked for). Most ERs are like this with meds now however they did recommend a specialist for future.

I've been here twice, they work quickly and efficiently and run tests in house and get results back quickly. Nurse Paul always has me smiling and in good spirits by the end of the visit which helps. The doctor who saw me, Dr. Poe was great. He took the time to come sit in the room to explain everything to me, calm me down and ease my anxiety a bit. The only negative thing is this place is EXPENSIVE, even with insurance. I have UHC and was billed $7000+ for my first visit here, have to pay $2000+ of that out of pocket... I'm dreading getting my bill for my most recent visit...they do have payment plans available & it's always better to be safe than sorry when it comes to your health but still...

The team at this ER was spectacular. The place was spotless, and we got in to see the doctor right away. Everyone was friendly and helpful. They were thorough and explained everything to us. Definitely recommend if you need an ER.

Place was fairly empty when we got there. We were happy that they took my wife quickly only to understand why it was empty. The head nurse looked like she didn’t want to be there rolling eyes when I asked simple question. The rest of the night (5 hours) she walked around me not answering questions like my wives IV is empty and blood was starting to come out of her IV. Couldn’t give me a reply except I’ll tell the nurse.Selma was the only sunshine there when we needed help she was there for most of the time. Now let’s talk about the doctor on call. He recommended that we check her in into a hospital and suggested that they call their ambulance company that would pick up my wife and take right to her room without going to new tests and questions again. We agreed that I will look for a closer hospital by our house. He forgot to tell me a small fact, it takes the ambulance 2-3 hours to show up. Sure enough 3 hours later they showed up.The whole 5 hours I felt that we were the enemy in that place. So if you're looking for bad, slow, in compassionate service I highly recommend them.If you want good service walk by their door quickly.

Our Nurse Lauren was absolutely amazing. She was very sweet and very efficient through the whole process. Dr. Gonzalez was great, too. He was very informative, got right to the point and addressed the situation, and did everything that was needed based on the emergency. I can not comment on billing. I will see what happens, but we didn't have a choice, and hopefully, our insurance understands it was an emergency, and it can be taken care of. Other than that, I am very grateful to them for helping us. They both were the best.

I was in JFK ER from mid morning till around 8 PM. They treated me for a black-out and fall causing head injury. that evening, when they released me, I was in a wheel Chair at the front entrance awaiting pick up by my daughter. I glanced down at my right arm and there was my IV, still in my arm. They forgot to remove it. I wheeled myself back inside and the IV was promptly removed. Not very efficient nurse work.

We’ve had two occasions to use this faculty. Once for me and once for my wife. Before I share our experiences, it’s important to understand this is a freestanding ER, not an urgent care facility. As such, an ER doctor is there 24/7 and they have the ability to do diagnostic testing on-site.Because it is an ER, just as with a hospital ER, care will not only be more thorough but also considerably more expensive than an urgent care. If you’re uninsured, be prepared for a large bill. It’s also important to understand that their primary concerns are medical emergencies and life threatening situations. It probably shouldn’t be your first choice if you have a sprained ankle or just a small cut that needs sutures. Those things can be dealt with less expensively at the many urgent care facilities in the area. One also shouldn’t go there with the expectation they are going to treat and manage chronic conditions. That’s what you primary care physician is for.On each of our separate visits both my wife and I were seen very promptly and received excellent, thorough care. Unlike many other facilities, their very first task is to evaluate you rather than having you first complete lengthy admission papers and provide proof of insurance. The nursing staff and each of the doctors my wife and I saw were caring, capable and friendly. We’re fortunate to have this facility in our community.

I went here yesterday and was not only seen immediately but the care was top notch. The nursing staff was attentive and kind (thanks Debby & Paul!) and the Doctor (Dr. Tulsiak) was not only very thorough but even personally called both my general Doctor and my specialist to speak with them about my suggested follow up care. A 5 star experience - I find that’s rare in the medical world these days.

I got a fishing hook stuck in my foot that the doctor and amazing nurses took out immediately. 10/10 experience and I never knew emergency care could be so fun. My nurse Debby was the absolute best and called a few times to check on how I was doing after.
