Made an appointment and drove 45 minutes. Once i arrived, the Salon was closed. I texted Jenn, and her husband Mark said she was sick. I wish she told me this BEFORE i left my house - i spent an hour and a half driving to and from the salon for no reason. Prior reviews indicate this is typical behavior.....

I absolutely never, never leave bad reviews. I was booked for an appointment last Saturday. I was messaged about an hour before the appointment by who I believe was Jen. She mentioned she had a family emergency. I had planned the whole day around getting this haircut, but life happens, and I was more than happy to reschedule.I am leaving tomorrow and will be out of town for a week, and really needed a haircut before leaving. I was rescheduled to today at 2:30, and I even mentioned I really had to squeeze and tweak my schedule to make it but agreed. When I made it there at 2:30 one lady was leaving and another one was getting her hair washed… I told the hairdresser my appointment was at 2:30 and she told me she was running “a couple minutes” behind. I waited for 20 minutes and then left (I’m not sure she even realized I left, and the other costumer didn’t even remotely look close to being done).Again, I understand life happens, but the total disregard for other people’s time and schedules is something I find incredibly disrespectful and unprofessional. I wasted a whole hour today between getting there, waiting, and getting back home… I also really needed that haircut by tomorrow, so I really wish I had just rescheduled with another salon.Do not waste your time.

The positive is they fit my cousin in on one days notice. We were staying in town for a couple of days and my cousin needed a cut and to take her medium blonde hair much brighter and summery. She got one of the junior staff stylist who was absolutely lovely! The cost was agreed upon before the treatment started and my cousin and I were both excited for a little beautification (me watching her beautification that is). The end result was not at all the bright summery blonde as the pics we had shown beforehand and the bill from the owner was a bit jaw dropping! We paid but sadly the stylist's tip was not the 20+ percent we usually give since we did feel like the results were not completely what was asked for, and because there were charges on the bill that felt like a complete upsell. If you do choose this salon, ask specific questions about what is needed for the desired result and the itemized cost (I thought I was pretty savvy when it comes to this but felt like I let my cousin down as she very rarely gets her hair down). So, 3 stars because her cut is super cute.

I’m beyond impressed with this place and my stylist Christina! She is so sweet and very attentive. I’m very particular about my hair especially when it comes to the balayage technique and she killed it! Great customer service and hair skills. I’m definitely coming back on a regular basis to keep up with my hair.Services: Haircut

I’m a little afraid to even write anything negative based on other responses. But I had a good first experience here, they were able to accommodate me at the last minute and although they said they couldn’t do what I was asking for since it required a consultation first, I was still happy with the outcome. Everyone was very nice. I had then scheduled another appointment a good few weeks out to come back for a balayage and glaze. The day before my appointment I received an email at 11am, text at 11:01 confirming my appointment time, but you could not reply to the text, call and voicemail at 11:34, and another call with no voicemail at 1:47. Then I received an email at 1:48 that they had cancelled my appointment. It’s unfortunate because I had planned on keeping it and had planned my whole day around it. But I’m a nurse administering chemotherapy to very sick patients and it requires my full attention, obviously their safety is more important than confirming my hair appointment. Unfortunately some jobs do not allow employees to take personal calls in the middle of the work day. I thought I had found a nice salon and a handful of friends were waiting to see my hair so they could potentially try it out too. And cancelling on the client I don’t think is the greatest, especially with how long it is taking to get into most salons right now. My hair really needed the appointment. But unfortunately I cannot guarantee I will be available within a 3 hour time frame during my work day to confirm an appointment so I guess I will have to look for another option.

I made an appointment at 5pm on a Saturday for a wash and blowout as I was leaving next morning to NY. I received a call a 4:15 stating they cannot take me and I need to find another salon to do my hair as they were booked and working on another clients hair. I just want to say when you have clients that have important engagements you cannot just cancel cause you have another client taking too long for their hair. Unprofessional and bad business, definitely not reliable.

Been meaning to write this review for a while but Alyssa is amazing! She has such a great instinct for exactly what color will look the best and is also so fun and kind. I was so pleased with how my cut and color turned out and can’t wait to keep going back to her. My hair took longer than expected so Jenn took over and finished my haircut and it turned out so cute! It was a great experience all around and the mimosas made it even more fun! Highly recommend this salon and Alyssa!Services: Haircut

Super disappointed. After my stylist of 7 years moved out of state, I finally had to find someone local. This salon was close to me, so I thought I’d give it a try.Despite being very specific about what I wanted, the stylist didn’t seem to care. My hair is very heavy and requires experience to de-bulk it and thin it out….I explained that thinning shears do not work on my hair, they leave lines and make it choppy.The stylist disregarded this completely, and said that was the only way she knew how to do it.Already being halfway through the cut, I didn’t feel like I could just stop it at that point.To make a long story shorter, she flat ironed it so I didn’t even realize how bad it was until the next day!Choppy, uneven, each side is a different length!!!…lines from the thinning shears, and a LARGE uneven chunk on one side that looks like a 5 year old took scissors to my hair.Just terrible!!!!I’ve called twice trying to reach the owner to see if maybe someone could at least fix the butchered pieces, and no return call. So I’ll have to start over again elsewhere to try to get this bad cut fixed.Definitely cannot recommend this place.Update….Owner finally called after getting the review, but I was working and asked if she could call back later in the afternoon. She agreed, and then no call.She did NOT leave a message as stated in the below reply. If you’re too busy to make a 5 minute phone call to try and make a very bad experience right, then don’t bother. But don’t lie about it.I can be reached most afternoons from 1pm on, and up to 10pm. That seems a very generous window.You’re right, I was “too busy” to talk at 11am when I was working. ??Good lord. And that was ONCE.I’ve triple checked my voicemail, no messages. One missed call (because I was WORKING), and that’s it.Anyway….You guys need to just stop.I stand by my review,, and won’t be returning. Found a much nicer salon with an experienced stylist who fixed this bad haircut.Service: Haircut

I just love this place !!!Intelligent, CREATIVE,... not just in Hair Artistry BUT ideas and understandings about Life ... business, ancestry culture, values and wisdom from life's challenges. Utterly amazing ... the studio of a Master in Hair Artistry.When I was departing, she was styling the most beautiful silvery and white salt & pepper, gentleman's hair ...It caught my eye ...I stopped short ...In AWE ...Seriously !!!I know I am going on ... but ... I am so glad to find a shop that work from their hearts.

This was the worst experience I’ve had in my 30 years of going to a hair salon I go twice a week all over the world from Europe to Asia to Africa to South America The stylus 30 was so nice the owner was so horrible she emotionally abuse me from the moment I walked in I was trembling through the whole experience it was the worst experience I can see she was upset that I was dark skinned I can see it right away she was starting to be really anxious it was humiliating and she abuse me in front of everyone do not go there before I went I deliberately did not wear my designer bags or jewelry because it’s the first time I was going to the salon and I wanted to see what they were like I’m sure enough she was so rude to me it was humiliating

I went in for my first time, Christina did a Blonde balayage on me. And do I have to say IM IN LOVE!! Walking in expecting to do highlights and having her expertise shift me to what my hair really needed and what would suite me best.. I recommend this place 100% no questions asked! I am extremely happy with what she accomplished and this is BY FAR THE BEST HAIR EXPERIENCE I EVER HAD! They made me leave with the biggest smile on my face and overall the environment everyone was friendly. Made me feel extremely comfortable. Thank you all again for such a great first time experience
