Stopped in the Oxford location yesterday just to see what kind of furniture they have. I thought their inventory was very dated both in color and style. I guess if you're on a tight budget or furnishing a rental it would be OK, but I didn't find anything I would purchase.

The checkout clerk on Saturday was discourteous and dismissive, so I just left the store. But the Monday staff was friendly and helpful. The checkout and loading process was a breeze.

This place was not for me, but may be for you. The place was clean, and everything thing on display was clean. All furniture, most of which the style is very dated. The pricing seems to reflect consignment as opposed to thrift.

We asked them about a Steelcase leather sofa with two recliners and matching chair. They said they would come by and price and once in the system they would take. Don’t offer to anyone else.
They got here and declined to take it because of a tiny bit of discoloration on top back. We were getting new furniture the next day and luckily were able to find someone to take it as a donation. They left us high and dry.

Don't tell David at Bargains & Treasures they made a mistake, the customer is apparently never right here!
Arranged for a pickup, they were suppose to call 30 minutes ahead so I could meet them, I called them late in the day because they hadn't called and I wanted to make sure I was still on the schedule.
My call was transferred to a jerk named David, who answered the call politely enough (with the one star rating) but then kept telling me the pickup guys called. He read off the number they called - which was not my number (not even the right area code) - then claimed the number is on the paperwork (that they filled out not me) so you gave them the wrong number.
Yet, funny that they managed to call the right number when they came over to tell me what they would agree to pickup and try to sell. I still have the inbound call, marked with a caller ID of "Bargain Treas"
Mistakes happen, no huge deal, I was waiting on the 30 minute arrival call to go over and meet them, so I lost no time sitting around waiting for them. No idea where they got that wrong number, but all I wanted was a new pickup time.
David got very offended and would not move on from my telling him a mistake was made, and kept harking about it being on the paperwork - reminded me of an old Saturday Night Live skit.
He told me not to tell him he made a mistake and to take my business elsewhere and then hung up on me.
I'm sure if David bothers to look into the issue, he will discover pretty quickly that he made a mistake. No big deal, just appologize and reschedule the pickup - rather than being an all around king of jerks.

Lots of unique and antique furniture and decor, prices vary but most within reason. It is located on back street so be on the lookout or could miss it.
