I am so sorry that someone writing a review was not happy with Bonnie. I have had many conversations and interactions with Bonnie over the years and have always thought that she was very kind, helpful and perfectly delightful. Treasure Cove is probably the most organised consignment shop in Ormond Beach. I am always in big trouble when I take clothing there to be sold because I NEVER leave empty handed!

Can't believe I've passed this place SO many times over the past two decades of living in Ormond on and off, never stopping to check it out (despite being a thrift/secondhand lover) because I assumed it would be uninteresting, older Boomer-ish style, overpriced (due to being "consignment" and in downtown Ormond area) clothes... I was so wrong!! The 99¢ sale rack on the sidewalk and a glimpse of a cute dress made me finally pull over. I was so pleasantly surprised to find tons of great items - tops, dresses, skirts, jackets, pants... So many great quality and fun, stylish, great finds in all sizes and at REALLY fair price points (99¢ to $6-12 for most items I checked out). What really made it even better than any other typical secondhand or thrift store in the area (or mostly anywhere) was how organized everything is kept. They actually hang items by category, size, and even color or pattern scheme.. which my fashion- and thrifty-loving Virgo heart appreciated SO much! Things were well maintained, and the staff was SO friendly and courteous!! I actually intended to mention that first in this review, because the woman who helped me was that notably kind and pleasant. Needless to say, I'm glad I finally stopped in after this long and will definitely be a regular customer in the future. I didn't find out the information regarding how to bring clothes in to consign, but am interested to learn more as someone who also donates good items to thrift shops and/or women's shelters fairly frequently.

One star , never got the 'pleasure' of walking in...we wanted to love this place! In town for a shopping vacation from beautiful Suntree Fl . Looked up consignment shops near me' on our GPS, and I phoned while en route to verify that they buy clothes as my vintage and fashion conscious daughter had some nice items to sell , we were also wanting to shop for rare finds. Immediately when I inquired whether they do indeed buy clothing items at this time , she said "NO !! - WE SELL only VERY PRISTINE HIGH END items - we are a CONSIGNMENT shop , sounding dismissive and ready to hang up she huffed. Taken aback , I said, 'yes, I understand ...but where do you GET the clothes to sell?" Trying to use logic and understand why her weird response. ( she was very rude!) she then said they buy from individuals , but only immaculate condition and very dismissive- was extremely rude. Question? HOW did she know our items were so unworthy via phone? Why so incredibly dismissive & rude? The sole reason i had taken my daughter to Daytona was to shop and have a little break- but the beyond snotty & rude way this person represents this store caused me not only to leave a bad review here when I returned home but also to avoid ever visiting that establishment. She, without even knowing us, what we had to sell or wanted to buy, treated us with apparent contempt even saying "We sell LADIES" clothes ( Very confusing as I myself am a Lady of senior age and good taste - who loves helping a good cause - BUT, apparently this shop is in the business of pre judging and turning away potential customers sight unseen instead of learning how to speak with pleasant courtesy to customers. I'm at a loss as to why? but we won't spend a dime there so their loss. If this is who and how they treat customers over the phone ? Very bad business tactic! Didn't understand or appreciate the hurtful and rude treatment. Extremely pretentious , to represent itself as beyond condescending to two potential customers .
