Was in store for over 30 mins and never had an associate ask if we needed help, when we went looking for a worker for help no one was around. Clean store and very nicely organized but lacking a little in the customer service department unfortunately.

My son has been asking to get fish for some time now so we went into Petco in Ormond Beach so he could pick out some fish. I wasn't too sure how big the tank should be and how many fish would be good for the size tank we wanted so we asked one of the associates. Gabby has a plethora of knowledge when it comes to fish and their care. She advised us on how long to wait before putting fish in after getting the tank and adding the water and decor. She let us know which fish did well together, and how to test the water. Employees like Gabby are such an asset to have. Not every pet store has employees that know their stuff and it was so nice going to a store that had someone so knowledgeable. Thank you for helping us get our tank up and running with the gorgeous assortment of fish.

The staff is nice, but the fish section was horrific. The pic is of all the dead fish in one of their tanks. The others were bad too, fish laying on the bottom and gasping to breathe. They whole thing was heartbreaking. Most people don't think much of fish, but either way, letting them suffer like this speaks volumes about their stance on pet care and husbandry. Not to mention, the products I went to buy were $4-6 more than petsmart and Chewy. Never again...

We have used Petco grooming for the last several years to groom 6 or more golden retrievers EVERY month! But you have now priced yourselves out by 1. The supply fee for every dog and 2. The up charge for shampoo that actually has a scent! Being charged the shampoo up charge for 6+ dogs every month I could buy 2+ gallons of shampoo!!! The supply fee is ridiculous as that’s the cost of doing business….:you don’t go to a hair salon and get charged for the stylist to use her blow dryer, curling iron and styling products. Lastly, with our last visit a stylist completely cut off all the hair around our male Goldens genitals including shaving his testicles!! Because I complained other stylists that helped our main stylist Aimee bathe our 6+ dogs a month are now refusing to groom my dogs. We have referred many people over the years as we also breed golden retriever service dogs, but things have drastically declined in regards to customer service. I will not be having my dogs groomed at Petco moving forward and I absolutely will no longer be referring clients to Petco for anything. We will also be canceling the monthly rewards program we recently joined that we were NEVER told even existed despite being in the store at least twice a month. If Petco wants to continue to be in the playing field with other stores your going to have to do better! Word of mouth is EXTREMELY powerful especially when it’s negative!!

They have a large selection of toys and supplies to fit all your pet needs. My dog hates to go there though cuz he knows he's getting a bath lol. But they're always so patient and kind with him

I've always been a Petco fan, and this particular store is no exception. It's clean and well stocked. Even the fish looked healthy.
