I have been in many Lowe's stores across the country but this store is the only one that had people to come and ask if I needed help. To me this would be a model store that has set the bar high for others to follow.

The Ormond Beach Lowe’s store has worse costumer service I’ve ever experienced and I will not be shopping at that location!
Veronica the Assistant Manager is rude and tacky. She refuses to apologize for mistakes the store makes would not give me the district managers phone number and rolled her eyes at me the entire time I disputed my complaint.
Delivery stated it was delivered two hours later they came without a txt or notification. I had payed help waiting for the delivery. The store is low rent period.

I bought a floodlight from Lowe’s last week. Long story short it didn’t work so I brought it back along with the receipt {6/30/2024}. I took it to customer service and told them it didn’t work and I wanted to exchange it. The older gentleman proceeded to give me a refund. I told him I didn’t want a refund I wanted to exchange it for the same light. He said this is the way we do it. I told him it didn’t make much sense but moving on. He told me 29.48 was going on a gift card and the rest back to my debit card. I told him it was a $30 gift and his answer was that just how “they” did it. Ok when will it be back on my card? He told me it was Sunday and the banks weren’t open so it would be a few days? So I tell you I don’t want the cash just the product and now I can’t get it because you won’t give me my money for a few days. Back to Home Depot for me.

Today I was checking out with two items at self checkout, the lady who assists customers on that department was having a chat with another associate so she didn’t see me asking for help by pressing the help button on the self checkout.
So after a while o got fed up of waiting and when to check out at the garden center as she had started serving someone else …..
As I was walking towards the garden section she comes running behind me yelling at me that I didn’t pay !!!
I’m still in your damn store and your yelling I’m front of everyone that I didn’t pay when you were too pre occupied to do your job correctly!!!
I continued to walk to the garden center checkout .
This is not the first time I’ve been dealt with so rudely . A little over a year ago I politely corrected a young lady who works there and she told me directly to “f…. Off back to my own country “.
I reported this to corporate and genre heard a thing back .
As a contractor I go to a lot of lowes and Home Depot stores throughout Volusia County and lowes Ormond beach is definitely the worst run , ride employees who don’t serve anyone or even greet anyone .
As the saying goes “the fish rots from the head “!
