I am giving two stars because of the bad treatment my daughter got
She went last Tuesday around 4 pm
I think the ladies there were having a bad day, the stylist was complaining how thick my daughter hair was although it's normal, she gave her a nice hair cut nevertheless
But my daughter is a very sensitive 20 yrs old, hearing the stylist saying you have so much hair like 200 times in the same session is not exciting!!
Now the front desk lady was so rude, she was sitting down talking to her colleague and giving her back to my daughter, then she turned around and rolled her eyes!! On top of that she was charging her 5$ more because her hair was extra long which is not true, then when my daughter told her my hair was not long to start with the lady said oh do you have a problem paying an extra 5$ ?
Actually yes my daughter had a problem to pay for something that she didn't need to pay for! Was that 5$ a problem for a big salon, did they need this 5$ so bad?? Or was it coming out of this lady's pocket ???
Unfortunately this 5$ made you lose a customer!
Not only that, but when she was washing her hair, the water was very cold and the stylist was pulling her hair and scratching her scalp very hard with her nails, very painful! And the salon sends you out the door with hair clippings all over your face, they don't brush it off at all. You want to walk out of the salon feeling pretty, but you look in the mirror and see hair all over your face and neck. That front desk lady has always been quite rude, but this was the last straw!

Update: I got home and felt like I needed more feathering in front. That made me so nervous because I hate to complain…but when I went in to discuss it with the manager she was super gracious and stressed their guarantee. Original hairdresser wasn’t there so Jaime stepped up—he did an AMAZING job and I left there very happy.What a great salon!!

Go at your own risk but not worth the money. You will spend double just to get it fixed. Didn't think you can mess up a toner but apparently you can!

My daughter and I have come here a couple of times for haircuts and eyebrows. Michelle did a great job with our long layers and everyone is friendly. The place is very clean.

UPDATEI was so happy to have found a beauty salon in Lake Nona, but I'm disappointed and so sad because I have spent an absurd amount of money with a Brazilian Keratin treatment that I do not recommend to anyone! ❌ They sold me on the idea that the treatment would hydrate my curly hair, that it wasn't a relaxer, it would preserve my curls but with soft, frizz-free hair that was easy to comb. Unfortunately, It’s the biggest lie!!! , after 2 weeks my hair has fallen out terribly, I completely lost my curls and even to make my hair look a little better I have to straighten it daily with a dryer. It's a nightmare that I DO NOT RECOMMEND TO ANYONE!!!!!the first time they did a haircut, dye and highlights, I was blown away, the second time they did a touch-up that lasted only a week, something like this had never happened to me.I refuse to think that this was intentional, my review is so that other customers do not have this bad experience and so that the salon puts the products they sell to the test again.The people who work here are friendly, but it's important that they know that not all clients will find the same products work for them.------First review ?Me encanta este lugar, te atienden por citas, todas las estilistas tienen puesto el cubrebocas, te solicitan que tengas un cubrebocas puesto para tu cita. Very disappointed. My hair, and my highlights were perfect before I walked in this salon, except for my roots. First! I'm not even gonna mentioned how much money and time and years, and the process it took to get my hair with the perfect highlights as I once had it, before walking in to this place.I only went there to retouch my roots, and to cover just a bit of some white hair that will poke out here and there, but After my wash, my hair was all black, (and that’s not even my natural hair color) my highlights were all gone. ?. There was a nice girl who tried her best to bring back my highlights by washing out the color that was suppose to only be applied to my roots, and was not suppose to touch the rest of my hair, that apparently dyed my entire head. ( and all that process made my hair super dry) Even though she tried to fix it, it did not work. Instead it turned my highlights all brassy, and ugly brownish. Let me also Note a process that should have only taken one hour, took almost 6 hours. On top of that I was not discounted, the owner claimed I was. But surely I know I wasn’t. Charged me $180.00, which by the way I was told on the phone it would be $170.00 I didn’t get my hair blow dried, and I didn’t get a cut this time. This amount was just for partial highlights and roots retouch. I was so exhausted from being there for so long, I didn’t even had the energy to argue about it. I won’t ever get my hair done there again. The owner should have at least discounted, or not charge, and I remember even seeing their laughters on the side about my horrific hair situation, as if it’s a joke. Unprofessional, uncaring, no remorse.This is proof that just because you have a certificate saying you pass hair school.. does not mean they actually can do and understand how to do hair. Get the training you need first, before even touching someone’s hair.Now I have to restart the entire process with someone else from scratch ?Just wanted to share my experience to warn others, so it doesn’t happen to you.

Firstly it is quite overpriced but I don't care spending extra if the service is going to be good. I just came back from a hair cut. I had very MINOR requirements. I asked for layers and told the lady I need even the shortest layer to be long enough that it goes into a ponytail when I wear one i.e. it shouldn't be dangling outside. I explained a few times and she said she understands. She also gave an example that it can be annoying when you have to tuck the hair behind your ear. While cutting the shorter layers she didn't even check with me if the length was ok. She realized I might have been unhappy, so for the longer strands she asked if the length was ok but it didn't matter. The length for the shorter layers was really important but the damage was already done. I didn't know what else to do other than pay them what they charged me ($30 extra for some stupid hair mask which they left on for 5min). Now I have to be annoyed every single day until the hair grows back in length. I don't know how it is so hard for professionals to get one single requirement right. They often try to do it their way and somehow want you to be so happy about it. Haircuts have to be customized as per customer's needs, they cannot be done like the way you like it on yourself. Other than this, the stylist was really polite and made sure I was comfortable with the setting. Courtesy is good to have but if the hair cut /technique is lacking, it won't count for anything.Service: Hairstyling

Cut my hair way shorter than what I asked for. The layers were not well done. Looks more flat than layered. They try to do some unnecessary extras and charge you more. They won’t tell you how much each item costs. When you ask sternly the girl at the counter claims that the system added extra charge by mistake. Super happy to have finally found a stylist close to home with a reasonable price. I am so sorry I don't remember her name (starts with a V and she is from Croatia), she is amazing. Listened to what I wanted and took her time. I love my hair short and with a lot of texture. She even gave me coloring advice as I color my own hair. I am always very nervous going to a new place and person... 100% will be back in 6-8 weeks (lol).

Don't waste your money or your time. The young stylist who cut my hair (Sabrina?) does not know how to cut hair. I can understand not fully grasping what a client may want, but at that point you should ask the client questions to better understand them. I showed her a picture of hair cut just off the shoulder. I also said that I wanted my hair dark brown. What did I get? PITCH BLACK hair that was cut so short. She curled it when I asked for lose curls. Her response? "Oh it just looks short because of the curls and you have to let the humidity bring the curls down". So I went outside and the humidity made it worse. She didn't even offer or ask if she could make it better.During the experience, she washed my hair with freezing cold water. Didn't even bother to ask me about the water temperature.The worst part was that she wasn't paying much attention to me during the color and cut. She was too concerned about ruining her holiday nails and asked someone to bring her AirPods to wear,The prices are great, but it's true what they say...you get what you pay for. I recommend going elsewhere where the stylists actually listen and understand you.Services: Hair colouring
