Went in to ship a gift for a 40th birthday. There was one person at the desk and a long line. They told me they can’t ship alcohol. Fair enough. However they referred me to a hub that is permanently closed. The person at the counter asked a supervisor what to do and was told out loud with a nasty attitude “that’s the customer’s problem not ours.” I’d avoid this location as they are disrespectful and rude.

Thank you to the great folks that make shipping and printing less of a PIA! Aya has always been super helpful and pleasant and she is super efficient with the processes and also provides quick service and great suggestions with printing services/products. Even though I moved out of this neighborhood, I still continue to come back to this store because of the friend staff. Big thanks to Catalina and Angelo as well!

I can’t say enough good things about the service I received today. I arrived at the store about a minute after closing and instead of being told “we are closed, come back tomorrow” I was let in and helped by an amazing employee named Aya. It was critical that the package was sent today, and she saved the day! You are truly an asset to the store.

For little things, this store is great. For larger expensive shipments go to a UPS customer center. I understand that the franchisees have to make a living, and that some services will be more expensive at a UPS store. Having owned 3 small businesses, I get that. However, there is a line that I won't cross to support a small business, and that's when my perception of "gouging" comes into play.
I recently brought an expensive guitar to this location to ship to Wisconsin. The guitar is worth at least $4500. The base rate was approximately $120 without insurance, and with $4500 coverage (which the young lady explained to me only covers a total loss), It came to $252. My dismay was overheard by the owner, who chimed out "UPS sets the prices." Well I'm not that naive, because I have been in this situation before. I walked out and took the 20 minute drive to the Port Richey customer center. Shipping the guitar with $4500 of insurance cost me $163. That's a $99 difference to perform the same task. Sure, I'd support my local UPS store if the difference was $20, but I consider a $99 difference the very definition of "gouging."
Update 10/29/24:
Amazon has changed their return policies for UPS. You now have to buy a shipping label as opposed showing a QR code on your phone. Also, unlike before, the woman there told me my return should be packed for shipping. I mentioned that it was sent in a bag, and the bag was torn when opened. In an attempt to help me, she told me she would find me a bag.
I left hoping all was well, but when I checked tracking the next morning, I just saw "label created", and no movement. I called the store, offered to bring an appropriate bag, and the same woman told me it went out. I gave it the weekend. Still no movement. It was supposed to arrive on 10/28. Today, still no movement. I spent over an hour with UPS & Amazon trying to get a human to report a lost delivery claim. Though I'm protected from the loss because I bought the label from Amazon, I will not use UPS for returns in the future. It may well have been picked up from the store, but I have yet to receive a credit, which used to be immediate after drop off. Too many uncertainties.

Just dropped off four different packages with the help of Angelo. I was able to ship them out no problem five stars I would definitely come back. Angelo was super polite and extremely helpful

I shipped a package UPS Ground to Alabama and the item was misrouted to California. So why am I giving this a 5 star review? I went to the store to track the package down and Aya helped me not only locate the package but get it rerouted to the correct address. Sometimes it’s all about customer service even when mistakes beyond your control happen!!
