I was in a panic thinking something was wrong with my transmission or differential. Called and spoke with Dale, he asked me some simple questions and realized the 4x4 switch was on the wrong setting. He easily could have taken advantage of my situation but did not. Clearly honest people and I would highly recommend!

I would like to start by expressing my absolute 100% satisfaction with the shop, starting by returning a missed call to me by Dale, and giving me an absolute satisfying diagnosis over the phone of what could be possibly wrong with my vehicle. This happened after several mechanics either looked at my vehicle and showed confusion and suggested more work or simply recommended to replace the transmission in my vehicle.
Paul's transmission fixed my car for $125 only!!!
You don't hear about this repair cost anymore.
I mean talking about other crooks mechanics, these guys are honest, respectful, and by far, experts.
I had my car serviced for a couple of other things as well!.
I was super happy when I left and most of all satisfied with the repairs made in my E350 Van.
What these guys did at the shop wasn't only reassured me to take my van back on the street safely. They assured me that there are shops out there that are honest still. I will not hesitate to take any of my vehicles to Paul's transmission for any reason after this.

Best and only place in the Tri-County area I will trust with my cars. Transmissions are a true specialty, the crew here is straight, honest, and while not the cheapest, you absolutely get what you pay for, 100% stand behind their work.

Top Shelf!! Very knowledgeable and honest service from Dale and his Team. Had to bring my 78 Trans Am that was just restored and work to the original Transmission was not done correctly. They immediately recognized the issue and promptly made the repairs in a short time period. Highly recommend these Gents!!

If you are looking for an honest, professional repair center, then you will find it at Paul’s transmission.
My car broke down just outside his repair center, he came to my aid immediately. I do not know the ins and outs of how to fix my car, but Paul did stop me from opening the transmission fluid cap, which would have definitely been the wrong thing to do. He fixed my car and I was on my way.
Please know that Paul is the owner, and will treat you honestly, professionally and with respect. You will not be disappointed.

I can't say enough great things about this place! I was told to drop my truck off on Monday and it would be done by Friday. They took extra care to cover some custom artwork I have on my truck, some wrapped pieces, and even some frame plates so nothing would get damaged! Then I got a call on Wednesday and they said, she's done! 2 days ahead of schedule! When I went to pick it up, they spent some extra time with me to go over what they did and some ideas to help with the performance. They also washed it for me! 10/10 would recommend to all my family and friends.

Honest mechanics. Owner and his son are a great team. Need I say more. Did a great job in an extremely timely manner and only told me what I needed! No up sale for anything not necessary.

Had Paul's Transmission install a new front axle in my vintage car. The next time I drove the car, the axle fell out. Fortunately I wasn't on the highway. Had it towed back to Paul's. Turns out they never put on the bolts that hold the axle on. Serious mistake but things happen, so I didn't make a big deal about it. I brought it back again for a new air conditioning compressor. Next time I drove it I was on the highway and the belt on the new compressor fell off and the engine overheated and ruined the original engine in my mint 1975 Eldorado. Had it towed back to Paul's. Turns out they installed the wrong size compressor, which caused the belt to fall off. Dale the owner was very apologetic and assured me he would have the engine rebuilt at his expense and it would be as good as new. He had my car for a year! He kept making excuses, telling me that he sent the engine out to a machine shop and they were backed up. After that amount of time I just wanted my car back. When I started asking for him to return my car he blew up at me, swearing at me and screaming at me. He even threatened me that his wife was a lawyer. I just wanted my car back, I patiently waited for a year. Turns out he never even sent the engine out as he kept telling me. I finally got my car back and brought it somewhere else to get fixed. Besides the ineptitude of their work, the owner Dale lied to me for a year, screamed profanities, and threatened me. I would steer clear of this place,

SnakesThey replaced my TPS (throttle position switch) for $320 in May 2023. End of August, same symptoms. I asked them to just replace with a new TPS. They refused. They wanted to run another $320 diagnostic and said I was there May 2022 - a year earlier. Now I realize it was so that they wouldn't honor the warranty. Snakes.They said " they were PROFESSIONAL" and couldn't just replace a part, meaning they MUST charge at least $320 for another diagnostic and NOT honor the warranty. Their gaslighting is reprehensible!Today I got a new TPS from Advanced Auto Parts, saw a video on YouTube, replaced it in 10 minutes (the guy in the video took 2 minutes... I'm usually not very handy with car repair but I did great). Works perfect. Transmission shifting perfectly. Those 2 weird dashboard warning lights are instantly gone. Total cost... $47.I gave them the opportunity to fix the issue. They refused. They lied about when I was there. They tried to humiliate me into spending $320 so that they could make even more money off me instead of fixing their errors!Don't go there. They do not take pride in their work. It's all about making as much money off of the suckers. Instead of being grateful that I approached them with the chance to fix their mistake, they saw it as an opportunity to attempt to gaslight and intimidate me into being their cash cow again. Lack of integrity!Congratulations you get a well-deserved bad review. Maybe you will learn that when you mistreat customers you will get more and more bad reviews. And you will stop behaving that way.

Great experience. I had a flat tire and this transmission shop was the only place opened. The owner offered all the kind help I needed and refused to accept payment. I am so appreciative of the extraordinary effort and kindness displayed.
