This hardware must have changed hands? Once you dodge the sink holes in the parking lot you find the inside to be dirty. I’ll drive on down the road.

Carl is the man! I had an urgent need to install a garbage disposal for the first time and was totally stressed. Carl calmly helped me and took extra care to wire the bottom of the disposal with a plug in. He literally saved me for my property inspection. And, he was so good at explaining that if I never need to install one again I’ll know how to do it. This is why I come to Ace instead of big box stores. Thanks Carl, you are the helpful hardware man.

Tried to exchange an unopened role of Ace painters tape for a different size. Rudest woman ever with 3 inch nails and a Karen cut wouldn’t let me exchange it because I didn’t know the date it was purchased. Thought it was the day before but *gasp* it might have been the day before. Seriously? The tape I bought cost less, btw. That said we have experienced her rudeness before and usually only come here if desperate because it’s closer. The Ace on Jacaranda is terrific.Apparently it’s not really the helpful hardware place at this location. Not to mention it’s a mess in there. Definitely better options. Choose another location.

Again, I will repeat the oft-said lament that I can't give this rat trap no stars. I resent the star. The rudest possible cashier - a condescending t*** who hates herself and her dead-end job and thinks she can talk to me like a 4-year old. I'll go to the other Ace even though it is a few miles further. I don't need this clap-trap from some dull-normal trumper.

I go into this store all the time.( local guy) I absolutely love 99.9% of the people in there. I had the worst experience today. I went to return 3 chainsaw blades. 2 of which I had the receipts for. The third I didn't. It was busy and I said to just keep the one k didn't have the receipt for. Then the lady said" I'm given g you a 20% restocking fee because someone could have used these." That's fine. It's doesn't matter. Then she was even more frustrated that she couldn't find her calculator. I said no big deal please give all three of these chain saw blades to someone who needs them. I don't need the refund. She jus had to get the last word and said " I will " Well I will never step foot in that store again! Used to love it, now I hate it!

So I try to avoid the big box stores. This place is dirty and outdated by any standard but I'll support the little guy. I casually buy a tarp a couple months ago to cover my chicken coop. Turns out I don't need it. Go to return it and the cashier lets me know their paranoid "hurricane" policy won't allow returns. You sell stuff year round. Hurricanes occur very rarely. Only the greed consumed person who owns this place would care to exclude returns. Like other reviews have said....lots of staff around but its a dump. Especially nice the employees who witnessed my interaction and commented how stupid it was. The cashier was polite as she said it was "above her pay grade" and simply said I should complain to management. Why should I have to complain. Seriously, in a store this size how big of a problem is it that people buy stuff and just return it? You have a 20% restock fee anyway for long returns. Screw it. More business for Lowes.

Like all ACE hardware..Ace is the place for your helpful hardware staff. Never been to one where there was poor service .So always deserving of 5 stars
