We went here for breakfast, and the ambiance is great--light and airy, and very pretty. Actually it was almost a little too feminine for my taste. Our server was not bad, but didn't seem especially engaged. However, the owner or manager spent quite a bit of time chatting with us, which was nice. The food was tasty, and the presentation was very nice, but the quantity was awfully small--especially for the price. I had the french toast and got the equivalent of one and a half pieces of bread (3 half slices). A friend got the waffle, and had roughly the same amount (less than I would get from one waffle in my home waffle maker). For the table we probably paid 65-70, and went away hungry.

We stopped in for lunch and it was great. They have a fairly extensive menu with traditional and plant-based options. We all enjoyed our meals. I got the chicken & waffle sliders with a side of sweet potato waffle fries. Quite good.

This was a stop on our food tour. The owner Jimberly served us two little portions of chicken curry - one was chicken and the other was plant-based. We could not tell that the plant-based one was not chicken. Not that I would go in to order plant-based food, but it's a great place to go with a vegetarian friend so they have lots of options! Great food.

We looked this spot up before coming out and it seemed like a solid place for our family to enjoy brunch during the Christmas parade. As we were seated and given menus, everyone's first thought was "how long is it going to take to read through this menu?" It is ridiculously long for a place so small. There are many vegan/vegetarian options, which is cool, but the menu truly is a CHORE to read. I tried to ask the server what she would recommend, and she really didn't help much. The food came out reasonably quick...but the portions were extremely small. My father's "belgian waffle" was 2 almost bite-sized waffles. Everyone else's food was fairly small portions as well, but my father's was laughable. My chicken curry sandwich was nothing to write home about, and the soft-fried tortilla chips were decent. The worst part about this meal was the price for what you got. The bill was around $16/person, which would have been ok if we ALL weren't still hungry afterwards. I firmly believe that you should get what you pay for, and this place didn't quite live up to that. I would honestly recommend trimming down the menu and focusing on improving either the flavor or portion sizes...or maybe both??? I would not dine here again.

We went for the Brunch Buffet & had a lovely meal. Just shows you how things can be viewed differently.. My guests were charmed by the atmosphere & loved The Loft Cafe Someone wrote the portions in buffet were small: quiche slices in the buffet are cut petite. It's a like a Tea Room not Golden Corral. The Mimosas were divine!

Found the restaurant online as we were looking for a decent breakfast place. The restaurant itself is on the second floor of an old historic arcade. The dining room was difficult to find as the entrance was poorly marked and the front door closed. Upon entering the dining area no one was there to greet us. We were informed after a few minutes that the restaurant was serving a buffet and that we would be seated and called to the buffet station when it was our turn . After about twenty minutes of sitting with a glass of water our turn came and we were met by staff at the first station which included eggs, sweet potatoes (fried), grits, sausage and biscuits. We weren’t allowed to serve ourselves. The food was portioned out. The second buffet station had the same items which were olant based. There was also a “tacido” station (tiny taco) and another bagel and oatmeal station. The food itsel was below average. The eggs were over cooked, the sausage dry, the grits and biscuits adequate. We both went back up for seconds thinking we’d get our money’s worth until the check came; 45 for two. I was floored by the huge discrepancy between the portion, quality and price. We then decided to order a couple of mimosas thinking maybe they were included but you should never assume; I.e., 13 bucks. The main issue besides below average quality, stealth portioning and a dearth of choices was the oppressiveness of the hostess who came by our table 3 times to ask how we were doing. On her 3 rd visit I was compelled to be honest and express our disappointment but rather than that I wrote this review.

Arrived at this restaurant without a reservation but we were seated immediately. Staff were friendly and attentive and the food was absolutely delicious! Rave reviews for the cheesecake!

Went for brunch and at $19.95, the options were limited. We were instructed to go sit and wait for the okay to go get our food. We weren't allowed to serve ourselves, nor get our own plate, as it was handed to us. The quiche was served to us by a staff person in little 1"x1-1/2" pieces, so I had to ask for another little piece. The buffet was on display with warming trays and little crock pots. Nothing was marked, so although we were told when we first arrived what there was, the choices were confusing. My husband would have gotten some soup, but he didn't know what was in what little crock pot. The feeling was the atmosphere was extremely controlled and unwelcoming. In getting ourselves some fruit, we felt we were sneaking it, being watched and doing something wrong. If you wanted something a little sweet after the buffet, it was extra. Coffee was extra at $2.50. I had to wait for a water refill and had to ask twice for a straw. The bill did arrive promptly though.

The chef is a friendly amazing cookand and when she is not in the kitchen, visits with guests. Even though I'm not a vegetarian, I found the Curry Chik Salad Sandwich absolutely delicious. You can order this sandwich with chicken also, but I've had the vegetarian substitute several times. Other selections are tasty too.

Each of us tried a different dish & were all very pleased with the food. I had Chicken Artichoke Pasta with a Lemon Sauce that was delicious. Husband loved his Shrimp & Grits, while others had varying delicious menu items. Desserts were great also
