In my experience, the people that are working at Orphan Rock are kind and friendly. They price things lower than all the thrift stores I’ve been to in the area (which is a blessing for the shoppers). I also like that the profits go to a good cause. It’s a place I like to both shop at and donate to.

We went out today to go shopping and tried to speak with the “volunteer” at the front desk whom was beyond a rude Karen, I hope she feels superior in her mood today for the way she spoke to me and pointed her finger in my face after telling her she could be nicer since she slammed the paper work and the pen on the counter at me. Since she was so much help while she attempted to hold a conversation upon asking questions while she was on her phone and being told oh she works 6 jobs. We all work KAREN if you don’t want to volunteer and be friendly and customer service based then don’t volunteer there! I work customer service as well I would never speak to someone the way she spoke to me let alone be a volunteer and act that way! It’s a shame you can’t even go into a church based organization and be treated kindly!

Its pretty good. Staff is pleasant. Pretty good prices on most things, a few items are way out there though. Thats pretty typical though with thrift stores these days. So comparably they are a little better overall in that department. I check them out every few weeks or so and will probably continue if need things. Thanks!
