I toured this building and knew it was the perfect place for me. The entire property is clean, with spotless common areas and the maintenance team clearly works hard to clean up spills or pet accidents as soon as possible. The pool and fitness center are top-notch amenities I know will add to my quality of life and my apartment is elegantly designed with high-end finishes and plenty of natural light.
The staff is professional and always helpful, making life here seamless and enjoyable.

First off, this property is not actually located in Coral Gables, so don’t try to get a city membership to any of the rec areas in the city.
The people who work here are nice enough, I don’t really fault them for any of the issues we had.
However, we didn’t have the best experience living here or since moving out.
Lived here a little over two years.
Of those two years, the pool and jacuzzi were available for maybe 2/3 of that time. The gym is great other than the fact that it’s either full of teenagers or trainers (not provided by the facility) who spend their whole day in the gym training people (I’m assuming this is unauthorized, but it was not monitored).
The elevators were broken half the time, or the back one was locked for someone who was moving.
Besides those things and the fire alarm going off nearly monthly in the middle of the night, they are now trying to charge us a carpet replacement fee, mind you we did not damage, burn, rip, or harm the carpet in any way.
They are suggesting that through our two years of living there, we put the equivalent of 5 years of wear and tear on the carpet, which is ridiculous. To me, it seems like they are just trying to get us to pay for new carpet for the next resident.
We also paid a bond at the beginning of our rental agreement and we were not told that it would not count towards any damages up front.
Not looking forward to the back and forth that is sure to ensue. Do your future self a favor and live somewhere else.
P.S. Any five star review on this complex is obviously fake.

We just moved in about 2 weeks ago and everything has been so good!! Alby was very helpful with the application process and on move-in day. We have loved all of the amenities and the location is amazing. Berkshire is the best place we have lived so far.
Yesterday, I submitted a maintenance request because our toilet wasn’t working right and our fan for the AC was constantly running and maintenance showed up & had these things fixed by 9:30am today! We love it so far ?

We love it here. People who manage the property are always helpful and friendly. Love that events are scheduled for community building. The biggest feature we love is the parking slot is on the floor of your apartment. So convenient especially after doing a grocery run.

Berkshire Coral Gables Apartments offers an exceptional living experience with impressive amenities and beautifully appointed rooms, beds, and baths. The staff, notably maintenance, consistently delivers timely and professional assistance, ensuring residents feel supported. Attention to cleanliness and aesthetics is evident throughout the building, reflecting the team's pride in their work. The friendly front desk staff add to the welcoming atmosphere. Conveniently located near the train station and within walking distance of Milams grocery store, Walgreens, Merrick Mall, Trader Joe's, and more, the community offers convenience and tranquility. Overall, my experience has been outstanding, with no complaints to mention.

My tour experience with Alberto (Alby) started well. What appealed to me was the location and the spacious layouts. I learned that management is the same as owners, thus more care would likely go into the building. I was also told many of their staff also lived on site and thus it was also incentive for them to ensure they had good neighbours.I had a friend living there who told me he heard the neighbours above him so when I went home and saw the same layout I saw and was interested in was also available on the highest floor, I opted for that one. I was assured by Alby that unit was good to go for a move in before end of the year and decided to trust him on that. My move in was supposed to be right before NYE and was a disaster. The unit had not been professionally cleaned as I was told it would be with dirt and hair among other things in the drawers and even fridge and had ants, spiders and silverfish and I’m not talking about just a handful. I felt neglected as I had shared these were issues at my previous home and some of the reasons I wanted to move. I was not pleased with initial attempts to handle this however I also understood it required management to handle which would not be possible until after the new year holiday. Thankfully I had some days of overlap at my old home and decided to wait to be contacted by the property manager delaying my move. However things got better which distinguished how Berkshire, a professionally managed residential community, differs from a place with a private landlord. I was contacted by Jessica, the property manager just after New years day who assured me I would be credited for the days I could not yet move in, assured I had cleaners that morning and pest control right away. She also took the time to do a walk through of the unit personally and ensured any concerns would be tended to right away. That’s when I got to meet the super helpful and friendly maintenance staff. Tracy who initially gave me the keys also remembered to check in with me to ensure all was sorted when I officially moved in and despite the initial hiccup, Alberto continued to be helpful and friendly with any questions on moving day and after.Things can go wrong anytime and anywhere but what matters is how they are addressed and what steps are taken to ensure the same thing doesn’t keep happening and Jessica did a fantastic job convincing me with words backed by actions that I should give this place a chance. Berkshire owners whoever you are, thanks for my new home. P.S. You are lucky to have Jessica!All in all, after 2 weeks of living here, Berkshire appears to be a good community, with friendly staff and neighbours, a place my dog loves due to the very pet friendly nature of this area and last but not least, any resident concerns are addressed professionally and quickly.
