Do not buy here!!This is a place that do not respect customers. The owner denied me a purchase because my $100 bill was a small face bill!He reject USA money based on what, his rejection was stupid and this store should be fined for not accepting American Money without a reason. This was ridiculous!

Nightmare Experience and Suspect PracticesMy experience at Flamingo Supermarket was a complete nightmare resulting in me having to call the cops and report to Miami-Dade County.I purchased some groceries from this supermarket since I was staying in Miami for several days. In my basket was a large container of yogurt and mostly fruit and vegetables (see image). When I go to swipe, suddenly the credit card machine is not working. He tries another machine and tries unplugging the machine. I was mostly distracted talking to other customers. I finally say that I need to go, then magically the machine starts working. I thought nothing of it at the time - read on. I got back to my hotel and realized that my yogurt was not in my bag. It was the expensive Fage yogurt.I went back to the store to explain the situation to the cashier - Indian man with green sweatshirt. I asked if I could get a copy of the receipt. All I wanted to know was whether he didn't charge me or did charge me and didn't give it to me. This was the same man who bagged my groceries. He refused to provide me a receipt. I discern later why he wouldn't want me to have the receipt. He told me that he had put a receipt in my bag.I returned to my hotel a block away, but there was no receipt in the bag. This is when I knew that something was not right. I went back to the store to tell him that I didn't have a receipt and demanded that he provide me one. There was a younger Indian guy there this time. He pulled a receipt saying that I didn't purchase yogurt, but it wasn't even the items that I bought. It wasn't my receipt. He then wants the exact time that I purchased the items. I exclaimed that it was only ten minutes ago. I had bought mostly fruit and vegetables, but paid $47.90, so something was off. Besides, as he was scrolling back to prior customer receipts, it displayed on the screen, so I knew that he was fully capable to going back to my receipt. I told them that I would call the police.I explained the situation to the police. I know that it was basically a civil matter, but they were able to finally get me the receipt. I believe that it was also racism going on because they claimed to the police that I refused to provide the card that I purchased the items with. That was not true. They never asked me for the card, only the time that I purchased. I believe that their intent was to make me seem that I was using someone else's card because I was a Black male buying fruit, vegetables, and yogurt. This also explains why the machine suddenly went down when I went to purchase, though it had worked for every single customer before me in line without incident. The issue was far bigger than I expected. The price that I recalled for the yogurt of $8.99 was there. But the receipt showed items that I did not purchase and charges for items that did not have an accurate description. The image shows all of the items that I bought. They charged me $3.99 for spring water, which I did not purchase. I had no reason to purchase water because the night before I had bought plenty of water from CVS.The receipt displays items that are not itemized. I bought a single row of nonstick butter that they used for 4 other items. It is impossible for me to match the items that I have in my possession with the store display price because after I called the police, they banned me. How am I to know that they are not overcharging? I suspect that they are. If they can put items like the water that I did not purchase, it would be consistent to have dubious practices. I believe that there is something seriously suspicious about what is taking place here.I filed a complaint with Miami-Dade County.AVOID!

Good selection in here but be careful cos some of the stuff is out of date - check before buying. Expensive but that’s normal for the area.
