This location has been CLOSED since September 2023!The website continues to accept the bookings for this location, and you will not receive any notification your booking has been canceled.The Herz office (3801 Collinv AV) advertised on door notice is the reference of unprofessionalism: the clerk was not exhibiting a courteous, conscientious not even be able to provide a phone number of the remaining Dollar Airport office, he become agressivee after I've asked his name.I kindly advise you to avoid both places.

The absolute worst car rental experience I’ve ever had. Every single person that I saw walked out of there walked out in a bad mood. They accused a guy, who had a rental for four days, of putting tints on the car and said they were going to charge him for it… Like, what!? Do you think a guy is going to invest money to put tints on a rental…? That’s the dumbest thing I’ve ever heard.And then I’m waiting in line for half an hour just to get told that I have to leave and go purchase a mask and get back in line again. Why I wasn’t told us in the very beginning when they first saw me in line? Who knows. But they made a bunch of people leave to go get masks.After that, I finally get to the counter, just to get told that my rental will not be ready for another hour! An hour! Even though it had already been an hour since my pick up time. So that means if I would’ve went there at my pick up time, I would’ve had to wait two hours!?What is the point of making a reservation for a certain time if it’s not even gonna be close to that time? And then when I ask the bigger/older hispanic woman who works there for a confirmation of cancellation she says no. Just “no”.Please believe me, just believe me, you will not have a good experience here. It’s not just me. Look at the other reviews. Pass on this place. Get a rental from another place. Even if it’s more expensive, it is not worth the headache. That’s even if you can get a rental here in the first place!

I don’t recommend for anyone, we have lots 2,5 hr to try to rent a car. We had European credit card. They don’t have a system to operate it. And they didn’t want to help us or to give any information. They didn’t have any knowledge what was wrong and didn’t advise us what to do.Then we went to Avis and managed to rent car in 5 minutes!

Luis was very unprofessional and rude. I have never in my life experienced such terrible customer service! He should not be working with customers! He showed up 10 minutes late, continued to ignore I was even there for an additional 5 minutes. Then was completely rude our entire conversation. I dont want to go through all the details but believe me you DO NOT want to rent from this place. Interacting with this LUIS guy (apparently he’s the manager) can ruin your vacation!

AVOID. They canceled my reservation without prior notice or my permission. I showed up to the rental agency and the lady was extremely rude and unapologetic that she gave my reservation to someone else. The best she could do was give me a reservation for “next week”. What a joke of an agency. They wasted my time and money.

We arrived, and only 2 people were allowed to enter the office (kids staying out in the sun).We did paperwork for a bit, then were told we had a 10 minute wait.After waiting another 40 minutes, they finally brought us a smaller car than what we were told (one that wouldn't fit our family and luggage reasonably).We smashed everyone in, and had to detour our vacation (drop off luggage) to accommodate a too small vehicle. About 2.5 hours of our vacation wasted on this place.

Did not honor a confirmed booking. First claimed I was few minutes late for my pickup time, so I can not get a car, then came out clean that they don't have a car and I was 24th on the waiting list!

Horrible service, dropped off my car after hours, took lots of pictures to corroborate the drop off and still they are attempting to charge me for additional charges, wish I would had seen the reviews earlier, never again!

My fiancé and myself showed up early to the Miami Beach dollar car rental location where we were met by a lady working that morning. She proceeded to inform us that there were no cars available and that she could do nothing to help. We spoke to the manager Lewis as well. He was exceptionally rude. Why on earth would you hire people who don’t care about their job, and don’t offer any potential solutions. This is poor customer service and a poor way to promote your business. We travel as much as we can renting cars every time: we will no longer be using any dollar car rentals. I caution anyone else who sees this to do the same. There is nothing more frustrating then not being informed that there were no cars prior to walking to the location and being stranded in Miami without a hotel. Do better dollar

Terrible Experience! I already booked with them a couple of weeks in advance and planned my whole trip with the hotel reserved in key west. Then when I went there to get my car, they said that they don’t have any cars available and they didn’t even try to provide any remedy. The lady, Maria, even called a police on me to throw me out of the place! I couldn’t believe how easily they ruined my whole vacation with no logical explanation. If you are not able to rely on your booking which I paid in full, what’s the point of booking?! Never recommend this place nor any Dollar rental agencies.

Do not rent from this location. My wife and I made a prepaid reservation in advance, presented the same major Visa card at the time of rental. I was then told I could not rent because I had given them a debit card. I politely corrected them and showed them that it was a major visa credit card with a $25k credit limit, and asked them to talk with the credit card issuer to confirm. They refused, were rude and continued to tell me it only mattered what their system showed and they would not help me. They then told me to leave because they had other customers waiting.
